I wouldn't say "cheque book racing" at all...rather sensible when you have your engine deciding that it doesn't want to play ball & you have a string of big meetings coming up...
What better way than to purchase a car with the engine that you need then on sell the roller to help re-coop some of the costs... ;D
The chassis has already been sold & according to the seller, they could have sold it three times over... ;D ;D

Rolling Chasses is in palmy, new owner has plans to power and put on track Awesome. If you know the buyer you should inform them about the best bang for their buck here. macgor.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=26519&page=1Brendan Lucas says, "The complete engine including all the bits you need to buy as well as radiator, carburetor, & headers seems to be costing around the $8k mark give or take, so yes it is proving to be a cost effective option. I helped out one night this year on the 12s car (formerly 511p), and good to see when the car comes in the temp sitting ~ 190f in its second season. Cheers, BL" No brainer really unless the buyer has won lotto.

Well not be a knocker...but with the trial engine you are not eligible for NZ title events...also what about resale value...better to stick with the Nissan or Toyota...still good bang for your buck... ;D
