Nelson: Midgets: Dave Kerr over Nevil Basalaj on a coin toss, Brad Mackwell. TQs: Ricky Brett, Ryan Stone, Gareth Nixon/Jeremy Webb. Superstocks: Dale Ewers, Thomas Stanaway, Ricky Boulton Super saloons: Shane Carey, Trevor Elliott, Paddy North. Productions: Scott James, Dave Leitch, Trevor Wilkinson. Sidecars: Payton and DeGray, Sangster and Drake, two teams share third. Streetstocks: Steve Kitto, Simon Bland, Nathan Thomas. Awesome racing from open wheelers and a roll/bad fire for Jason Riley in TQs. Paul Jones rolled in superstocks. Bitterly cold and far too long, no one left at the end except me

Bit light on info as spent most of the time in the pits, but there were three run-offs. Midgets/Superstocks and Stockcars.
Not sure who won the midgets, but superstocks was won by Peter Rees after run-off with Dale Ewers. (Petes 4th run-off this season!!) Stockcars won by Nathan Heyburn after run-off with Ralph Gillespie, Paul Gaskin 3rd in the 31p of Gary Davis, Alan Levien 4th in the 46v and Ash Kelly 5th in the Kieran Hewitt 16n car.

Filling the gaps ... outstanding midget runoff won by Nevil Basalaj over Dave Kerr. Phili Melrose third.
Pete Rees nailed Dale in the superstock runoff, Carey Harwood third.
Supers to Ian Burson ahead of Paddy North and Ron Taylor.
Ryan Stone just magical in TQs, Ricky Brett and Paul Russ competitive but Stone was outstanding.
Nigel Payton and Mike DeGray way too good in sidecars, keeping title here ahead of clubmates Kole Stratford and Brad Kirk with the Palmy pairing of Andrew Buchanan and Philipa Burns third.
Youth ministocks to Troy Currie over Jayden Corkhill and Liam Smith.
Zac Attack rolled by Rees, with a little help from Dan Sangster and Sam Thompson (both were targeting Rees but when he was moved the 12E fell over).
Good night and goodbye for the season ...

Pete Rees nailed Dale in the superstock runoff, Carey Harwood third. I did not see Peter Rees "nail" Dale what I saw was two top drivers having a bit of a tussle with Rees coming out on top after several attempts to get Dale (who had a flatty) and spinning him self in trying to do so. Another note, where was Teece? Don't tell me there was a 'problem' with the car.

Hard nites Racing , I think I have killed the Dirty Ole Holden just to fill the gap 24a is jono lauder in his newly built hq. went bloody well for a 202 with and auto trans. you won't have killed yours mike. they just keep goin and goin. good to see some different names up there after billy peat and craig mckinney both had dnf's. as much as i hate seeing seeing that 88s stealing out championships he drove awesome and fully deserved his 2 wins and a 2nd. congradulations

Another note, where was Teece? Don't tell me there was a 'problem' with the car. Well, Loney, 10N had three cracks at getting Dale offline and, on the third one, he managed to get the angle and impact right to drive 2NZ headon into the wall in turn 2, at which point it wouldn't restart. So I stand by my wording but no reflection on Dale, he certainly didn't make it easy. And Cody was sitting near us -- he along with crew and family chose to take the meeting off and watch. No problem with the car.
