This must be a copy of the Gordge car as in Pallmalls Gordge thread the Boote Holden 1nz was broken up into a stdstock way back, possibly 15w - ?E

Its the car that Boote won 1nz in at chch No Marty, it is one of the many Palmy copies, I think this chassis may have been a promotion car at one time, the original running gear from it is now in the Graeme Barr car. The ex Rumney/Hobbs/Boote/Whittaker Holden powered Gordge was broken up and the chassis used for a (std) stockcar. It is possible the "new" 7A car has some running gear out of the Gordge, Tony Whittaker must have accumulated a parts mountain over the years.

The parts in the Graeme Barr car are out of the old Peter Bengston car that was also a track car. The 7a was built for Brett Hyslop with the running gear out of the old Boote car.

Its still a rocket too, was hauling at the south island stockcar champs - so fast that when it clipped a parked car in the second heat he barrel rolled it as good as bootie did at teams champs.
Still has a pretty flash floating rear end with sway bar set up as well. Hooks up, cool car, with plenty of history.
