Yes, I posted photos of every Pall Mall Team car, but a large number of pages are MIA. Anyway, to answer the question, there are possibly three ex Pall Mall cars that we know of still around. 1. Possibly the ex #2 car of Graham Mitchell from around 1972 may be running at Whangarei. There is/was a thread on here about that car. 2. An unidentified, and much modified car, was running at Dargaville and Whangarei about ten years ago, this seems to now be MIA. 3. The Brisca style car ex #100 of Tony Neal from 1975/76 was reportedly in a shed in the Wellsford area. As far as Phil Joyce cars there are claims of some being around, he only built two and quite a few copies were built, so until the owners allow us to get Phil to inspect them and verify them we don't know for sure. Sam Ferabend's last four cars got pretty well used up by subsequent owners, I don't think any of them are still around.

I can confirm that there is one still running (albeit nothing like when she was first build) which was rebuilt my myself and my father. Is now a tank lookalike running Mk4 Zephyr V6 (getting ford 6 repower soon) and recently sold to another racer. The other one that made its way up here was bought from Roy Merylys(?) and that was Dads first ever stockcar (Snipe Powered, this IS about 1981...lol) and from memory Dad sold it to a guy I remember as "Bruiser Bruce" who painted it green, had a horrendenous head on at Dargaville (a couple of meetings after buying her) and the other driver sustained broken ribs and a punctured lung. Apparently it destroyed the front and she ended up being cutup for scrap.

[img src="[/img] i34.tinypic.com/ddzv2r.jpg"]Re the much remodified car missing in action, modified to a tank lookalike believed to be Ex PallMall car, It is curently sitting in Taipa. Any information and pictures would be appriciated as I am hoping to race it as a Historic but need information and Pics to do so. Although the car is presently in Taipa I live in Wanganui. This car is one of three all reputed to be histroric (30yrs +) that I am hoping to restore.

as it is now Looks very similar to some of the infamous "Waitara Black Team" cars of the late '80's Graham Meridith, Alan Pennington, Grubb Reade, Wayne Booker, etc , those cars disappeared north according to legends

This car raced on a figure 8 track at Elerslie in the 1960/61. this car has an I beam chassis. This is rumored to be one of the early Pall Mall cars. We would like to know if anyone knows its original number / motor and running gear? running gear was rumored to be Morris commercial, front end and leaf springs?Has been owned by Wattie Watson,Grandpa Stirling, Des loveridge, Jim Raferty, Grub, Neville Macken, John Hockenhole, and now owned by myself.

This is the Mitchell 2A car from 71/72 season, had Studebaker V8 and Jaguar 6 engines. This was possibly the car in Whangarei a few seasons back.

Yup.This is my old girl. This car was in Northland for appeoximately 25 years and has never ventured out of it until your purchase. Was originally Jaguar powered, that blew up moons ago, got a repower with a chev, got parked up for eons, showed up in Whangarei driven by Mike Close with an Essex V6 in it, was god awful ugly, My dad and I repowered it with a Hemi 245 and converted it to its current tank lookalike guise. The Hemi heatseized all the time, was going to repower with Ford 4.0l but scrapped that idea on this chassis, I swapped this chassis for a bare rolling Kuriger, Dad took it over and put the V6 back into it, sold it to Gark Bankart, he blew it up, we re aquired it threw the Holden at it and sold it AGAIN to Johnny Hockenhull.....So yeah we owned it 3 times lol
