Does it really matter if its Moly, all on the same weight table. Moly is a heap load stronger and hence safer than mild or CDS tube..

I would imagine they would be using larger OD with thinner walls. The 0.95" wall tube commonly used in Midgets, TQs has none of such issues. Have seen though structure areas in thinner material which have torn apart.

Very quiet on the saloon/ super saloon front... any news from anyone? numbers expected this season? only 5 weeks to first practice at Woodford Glen. Who's going to make it? Who's not? Particular (super)saloon races/championships to focus on this year? My car is in Rangiora being checked over and getting panels tidied up. other than that car is ready - trailer is not though... Arjen is pretty much ready to go too. just waiting for car to come back from Rangiora. it was suggested last week at the A-grade saloon meeting that there could be as many as 24 A-grades at woodford glen this season...

How many modifications need to be done to make these types of cars meet current NZ rules. What are the advantages/disadvantages to running one of these cars apposed to a NZ built/style car ?. Just arrived!!! Just needs modifications for SNZ rules. But the body is staying largely as is. Motor is almost ready to go. The owner is very excited and pending work commitments expect to see it on the dirt before christmas!
