It was a great opening night at Te Marua ;D 24 Stockcars 1 Superstock 12 or so Saloons, minisprints & productions 1 Super Saloon 4 Mods with 2 sprintcars and 5 Streeetstocks First of all i would just like to say well done to everyone whos put in the hard yards to get the new track work done, and the track surface tonight was amazing (from a spectators point of view). Racing wise the first stockcar race was a goody with cars everywhere in the first bend and 91w rolling and continuing. The mods where fast some excellent battles between 6w, 5w & 24w in the sprinter. And you just gota hand it to those streetstock boys only 5 cars but they still try and entertain, well done guys was good to watch!
All in all not a bad start to a promising season at (the still cold) Te Marua Speedway.

Productions can now look so much nicer since they can run alloy wheels now! This car wouldn't look any where near as good on Steelies. Common sense finally preveiled.

Wildcat....as much as I would like to see Wellington represented at Palmy in February I doubt its going to happen sadly.... I guessing that the promoter there would be close to finalising the teams already.. ? If the poms come back again then available spots might be very tight..

The British Lions / Team UK / The Poms have confirmed. Otago Team are out this year. Don't have enough cars to make a team.

Doubt if the Wildcats will be back until next season unless a little bit of money falls out of the sky to get my car finished also next season 2 Welly Stockcars are converting to Superstocks and another Welly Stockcar driver is buying a Superstock as well so next season looks more likely if it is going to be done properly, I hope Paul can slot in another team like Jordy if needed to get warmed up lol
