96r is that redfern? and how did Dale go apart from the tyre trouble? Scotty went well first heat Scotty and Jared were having a good battle Dale didn't get a decent enough run Regan each race he popped tyres Barry Brown spoke to Dale after race two and Dale said he would be glad just to get round the first corner ;D Big congrats to the new KC Champ Kerry Remnant a well deserved win good stuff Cheers

414a driver lost two teeth in the last race at Huntly, so I gave him Sunday off to recover, he's off to the dentist this week to have the 4 remaining top teeth removed. :)Warwick definitely enjoyed the third race, race of the season so far, Superstock racing how he likes it. ;D

Hi,
Just to clarify so some drivers are not held in the same light as others,
I received apologies late Sat, early Sunday from 4B, 11R,28H, 68R and 414H.
I did not receive the same courtesy from 10r, 61a, 15s, 24h, 73h, 7h or 35h.
Now I know some of these cars may have had damge, or reasons otherwise not to attend, but my feeling is if it is OK to make the effort to ring and enter, then the same courtesy can be shown in terms of withdrawing from an event.
I thank all those drivers who came and raced at Kihikihi yesterday. I don't want to single anyone out as there were some massive efforts with travelling from around the Nth Island, well done guys.
Also, thank you to the helpers that assisted with the 2 groups, grid draws, and dummy grid setup. This definitely made the running of the King Country event alot better than it ever has been, from a competitors point of view.
From the club, obviously yesterday was a good pointer to what needs to be improved prior to the NZ champs. We will take things on board and try and rectify everything. One thing that I feel is worth pointing out is that the racing on the track, and the control of cars once they go out the gate is the responsibility of SNZ, not the club. Conditions at kihikihi, running in daylight with limited infield staff sometimes make the SNZ officials job hard, and this is something paramount to improve prior to the NZ champs. Rest assured, everyone involved with this meeting will work towards a solution.
Enough from me, I have a gearbox to try and fix,
Rick - 23k Kihikihi superstock rep

First of all well done to Kerry. Hope you shouted Horse a drink for the blocking of Wade. All in all a good meeting put on by Kihikihi. Thought the dust levels were good untill the final. Should be ok come NZ time with a 6 o'clock start. I thought the way the cars came out from the dummy grid was fantastic, no time wasting, one group leaving track through one gate, next group out aroung the island into position. Flowed really well. As for the food etc got to be the biggest single cone snow freeze Ive ever had! Fantastic. Good stuff Kihikihi, see you January.
