Well they need a smooth and flat surface for all those young ladies in their high heels at the annual NZ Salon title - would you like fries with that?

well still no rain at the mount, could have completed this meeting tonight,i guess Willie got the weather all wrong The weather is about as (un)predictable as Willie himself. Chatting at lunchtime with him I would have not been surprised had it been called of by 1pm. Track was tacky (crappy). He's had no help from the weather gods so far this season, with inclement, uncertainty surrounding a few meetings which tend to keep many punters at home and or indoors. Fortunately his deal with the Council is NO MEETING no PAY, but I guess promotions shell out significant bucks in preparation! At 4pm ...

May have been waiting for the track to dry a tad to get machinery on it for prep work. Thort they may have called it earlier if the track was the only issue. Most outside competitors must have been on their way. Hope the club contacted the drivers in transit.

I wish it was called off earlier we got as far as Tokoroa before it was canned, left home at 1.15pm waiting for the call, oh well it was a nice 8hr drive all for nought A few of us ventured down from Auckland for the NIs. It was a nice enough drive but it would have been better with some speedway. At least there is the springs tomorrow night. And maybe Huntly after that. And then the springs again.
