Congradulation to Pickens-McLeod-Brunt Pickens was a well deserved winner with some very spectacular drives. Angus Mcleod only been out four times this season again deserved to move up a place from 3nz - 2nz.
Startford drivers let be known that they were a force in midgets to be counted and not taken lightly, well done. Duane Hickman so close to being in the top five with another year and some more experience should be in the top 5 next champs if not with a NZ number on his car.
Will Mr Mosen didn't make it, spite a bit of bad luck on his side. Although he was rightly beaten by 31s who had the drive of his life so far to beat Mosen in the repecharge. Shame Mosen only thought of himself and not his sponsors/supports when he decided not to race in the King Of The Mountain. Was it "I'm not racing with those monkey's" Will I only saw one Baboon on Saturday.
Otherwise really enjoyed the racing best I've seen for a while.

Fearless, You need not worry yourself re our Sponsors, we have had significant support from these guys now for a number of years. I guess the guys that did run 'The King of the Mountain" had one less car to concern themselves with. I made the decision to pull the car out, and this was based on the run we were having. Sometimes it is the best thing to walk away in one piece rather than push the boudaries and risk the car. If your a supporter, and I'm not sure you are, please feel free to read our race updates on www.mosenracing.com. Thanks for your comment.

Thanks for that Greg. Will I love and support the open wheel class you can't beat seeing a midget being chucked in from the start finish line going around the bend with front wheels pointing right full noise. I admire any driver that puts his car on the line week after week. As you would not normally see the names that you see on TV and read about it was a shame Brad did not front for the spectators of Stratford but I do understand why. I apologize for offense and look forward to seeing Brad again on the dirt. Phill Bailey

hi there Greg. Bad luck for the weekend. Ive just read your update on ur site and as i was to busy to see brads heat races the update says it all about his bad luck. 1 thing you need to know though is Shaun didnt protest brad making it through. he just questioned the rules in the rule book, how they can be running a championship on points then change to fastest lap to find the final place. He was 2nd= on points for the non qualifiers so since they were running a points meeting he should be the one that went through or as he was happy to do was have a 4 lap run off with brad to find the 20th car since they both got 2nd in there repacharges. as it is his 1st season in midgets he was just stoked to be there and to be miss out by 1 place was gut wrenching. Shaun is approachable so next time a decision like this occurs please dont be afraid to talk to them instead of all your crew staring at us. Over now so will move on. congrats to brunty for his 2nd 3nz. Jas

although some might not like it, you cant win all the time. or qualify all the time, the making of a great champion in my opinion is how they take a beating.
