Was the big international Sprint Car meeting but I only had time to take a few pics, mainly of Stockcars.
A good stockcar meeting - lots of hits, a couple of instant paybacks and a few very big challenges laid down.
Just random pics.
Cheers
Not sure if it's Puk or Bruce, or maybe Andrew who will be driving this one over the ramp on Boxing Day. I've got prior committments but it would've been good smashing into a Holden, there weren't any in the last derby.
Bloody sun glare ruined my sprintcar pic, plus I didn't fit the whole car in the picture. I try better next time.
The nice & shiney 62P is driven by Cam MacDonald.
Lot to be said for torsion suspension I reckon. Peter Kuriger knows how to build a dependable stockcar. The right front shock was completley gone when I took this shot but the car just carried on, albeit at a bit of a funny angle.
The white car is Jordan Dare, not 62p Cam MacDonald.
Looks like Mr Ward will be running the popular new Jay Knight "W" patern side rails design tonight.
Daniel tried his new pokey out extention arm thing, but he forgot to put his normal wheel guard on - so couldn't try it out for long before he was BLACK FLAGGED.
His sneaky design does show some good promise though and looks rather scary,. you wouldn't want to get a poke in the eye from it anyway.
Ron Tye was getting reorganised after putting a car in the wall at the end of the start finish straight and took a massive hit head-on from another car who obviously hadn't seen him. Full noise.
Rons OK and was looking to borrow our spare carb due to his one being destroyed in the hit. Unfortunately our spare carb is hopefully still on the 197p stockcar, which Brad has still got, and which wasn't there last night, so that was it for Ron.
Anyone seen Brad?
I didn't see it but this must have been a high speed roll - this car is always going at high speed.
Wonder what music 62p Cam MacDonald listens to on his in-car stereo? Christian reckons 62p should be listening to some rock n roll. ;D
The fastest lap recorded by any stockcar on the night was: Fastest Lap: 62p - 19.7698 (CSL Motor)
No front shocks did get the bumper down low.
Thanks for your help Kinna.
