Money is tight, I've had to pick and choose this season but I wouldn't miss a chance to see the Palmy Panthers, Rotorua Rebels or the Wanderers at full strength! $35 to get in... some people spend more than that at the McDonalds drive thru on the way to the track! The sport as a whole is undervalued, try paying $34 to sit thru Yogi Bear with stupid 3D glasses on to please an 8 year old who was bored on Sunday. Thats worth moaning about... Haha now thats a great lil read. (3D)

Jamo, back on page 3 (reply #38) petero asked about the age limit for kids on a family pass.
I've read the whole thread twice and haven't seen an answer, have I missed it or did the question get swallowed in the general adult price furore ?
Cheers

Under 16? You can not complain at that for child pass...and from memory Senior C Prices as well as Students (correct me if I'm Wrong)

Nope, not complaining at all, will tell my mate he can safely take the 15yo's without getting hit up for a bunch of adult tickets :-) And to answer petero's next question, "up to 4 kids"

not complaining bout gate prices but wouldn"t it be better to have a 2 night concession ticket for $50 might get people to go both nights.

A concession pass would be a fricken awesome idea Agreed - it probably couldn't be as low as $50, as nice as that would be, although at that price it'd possibly attract along a few that might only go along for the second night otherwise. It's not so bad for the visitors, they'll hit town early, but us Aucklanders need an incentive to tackle the Auckland traffic after work on Friday

We are experiencing a massive number of hits on our website , this has highlighted a lay out problem which is being worked on as I type.
Our Web site deosnt like tables and this is creating problems with viewing on some screens. Those with small screens may be seeing are seeing garbled lay outs.
should be resolved in the next couple of hours.

We will run either Saloons or Streetstocks on Friday night. Streeties are trying to confirm numbers, if they get 15 streeties will run. If not it will be handed over to Saloons. We are expecting 25 Stockcars as we left the meeting 20 had confirmed. Most Akld guys are supporting the club rather than the NI. Awesome effort guys! 24 Ministocks are confirmed. It is a round of their Chicane Sponsored series. The last round was cut short by the power outage. This is a big deal for the kids and they are fizzing to be at 'The Big Show' It's difficult to run more classes as we don't have the pit space. We take 105 max and that is maxxxx. So after the Super Stocks at 36 pit spaces, 24 Ministocks, 25 Stockcars you have 20 spaces left. Not really enough for two classes. Not for a $30 night anyway ;D A concession pass was raised but it never flew.

I keep seeing written on here 20 Super Saloons, Where are they coming from considering both Baypark & Wellington are running As at last night we had 15 Super Saloons confirmed. We may get several more if they decide not to go to Wellington. Unfortunately I can't tell you who they are on account...I don't know....I don't recall the names even being mentioned.

theres no saloons on friday according to the website. but there is mini stocks and streetstocks. but hey, 6 teams races, stockcars also, cool, and if the streeties get a decent field that would be quite acceptable too, now, these ministock races,, mm got to get a coffee and a hot dog and a trip to the toilet at some stage so ok with the ministox too.
footnote, just read a thread about there only being 10 streetstox, they're not sure yet if the auckland champs are being run or not, ... this should have been finalised by now, what are the senior people there doing, is any one managing this process, four days till racing and theres a post looking for competitors?? wtf. luckily 6 teams races is only 5 bucks a race with stockies thrown in for free, I can live with that, or $3.33 per race if you include the stockie races. And for you guys still wondering if you are gonna head to the park or not.... its cheaper than 9 pints at the pub over a night, not counting the taxi to get you back to that fat ugly chicks place who ye been chatting up and buying drinks for all evening, or the 3 big macs shes gonna eat in the taxi, or the disprins in the morning,......or the shame your gonna feel when you wake up to find the ugly one got outta bed and the even uglier one got in and threw you round the bed like a rag doll before taking advantage of you in your weakened state. when you wake up on saturday morning, and find things arent quite as you thought they were on friday night, I bet ya, at that moment, when things are hurting that dont normaly hurt, and you cop a look at the two of em blobbed out in bed, smiling at ya with dem rotten teeth, purring for more, right then, I bet youll wish you'd gone to Waikaraka Park for Teams Nationals.

Zitadel,
I don't know who you are, or what you are smoking, but that is one of the funniest replies I have seen on Macgor's - period. Not pc, and a lot of things like that, but absolutely brilliant. Keep up the weird, it's working for you.
