That's as I've been told, yes Which begs the question. what are you supposed to do when your heading back onto the track & one of the opersition cars decides it would be great to block you by stopping your your path as you try to re-enter the track? & I've seen this happening more often over the past couple of years. car coming off the grass slows to a stop to allow track traffic to pass as not to make contact car on the track stops in his line of entry? effectively blocking them on the grass.

Sitting next to a very experienced teams driver, and he believed it was for seeking sanctuary on the infield while under attack. This is what HE believed,

Either way whatever the reason, it wasn't fair as ALL teams had at least one driver either attacked from the grass or attacked on the grass or sought sanctuary. A little inconsistent i think. Its a shame as 7A was doing a great job with the machinery he has.

Ricky Mitchell was the surprise package of the night. Has lost none of his blocking skills and particularly in the race against Palmy was holding 3 of them at bay at one point with what really is an outdated car.
Proof that you can buy the best machinery in the world but you cant buy silky skills.
Phil Marx also did an awesome job, although they didn't win a race, it was a great return for the Allstars and made me proud.

Ricky would have been spewin! When he was team racing in the past, there was none of this stupid bordeline bollix. Sounds like he drove exactly like his old man in his last teams race! Hope the young un' picks up the same skills cos Graeme and Ricky are unreal blockers.

Sitting next to a very experienced teams driver, and he believed it was for seeking sanctuary on the infield while under attack. This is what HE believed, Hahah! Thats one way of looking at it I guess. The way I see it, a palmy car was on his back bumper the whole time and the old man had no control where he was heading. So basically he got pushed towards the grass and then off it too. Bit of a strange call but at the end of the day it didn't effect the overall result so no major.

what a great blocking show , but why was he sent off The referee deemed Ricky to be spending too much time over the pole line. Poor call when you consider he was being pushed there. At drivers breifing though the ref did harp on about the pole line. Pulled a couple of mods up for it and amazingly one guy for the last race. No one else just one. Credit to Ricky though took it on the chin. It didn't affect the result either way. Did rob us Aucklanders of seeing a master at his craft for a couple more laps though.

thanks for explantion, could not figure out why.
seems a little harsh, as most times he was being pushed, that i saw.
however, i do know if you are in one position you do not see everything.
still think it was a little harsh.
