True that Bullet Tues would be the pick with Wed as back up. As crazy as it is on met service the only day for rain in the next week is Friday haha ino things will change but Friday leaves them no options??

NZ Title takes priority over GP. Gisborne should have first choice on dates. GP is not a board title, only recognised by board.

At night one drivers briefing the Streetstock drivers were asked for a show of hands for who would likely be attending the GP in Napier pending damage.
This was asked by Davey Jones on behalf of the HB Speedway club.
I would say that the show of hands and possible few already entries may have dictated Hawkes Bay only running one night? It does make it a challenge though to travel from Gissy to HB clean up vehicles/repairs vehicle checking qualifying (if they do get more than 26 turn up) and then run the final.
Statement is correct though NZ title trumps GP title
My 2 cents
Cheers Scraggy

Just wondering if all the drivers got together & went to the Gisborne promotions & maybe forced the issue to get the meeting done on the next fine day... If they are waiting till Friday due not having a red hat available until then, SNZ should get one from somewhere else. I always thought that the meeting had to run on the next possible day.... But I have been wrong before... ;D It really penalises some competitors that don't have the funds to hang around & complete the championship. I know there cannot be much done about the weather we have had, but it would be nice if someone thought about the drivers, crews & families. Just looked at the predicted forecast for Friday & it doesn't look good with more rain on the horizon.... www.metservice.com/towns-cities/gisborne
