Following requests from a few listeners, and thanks to Gordon at Macgor's New Zealand Speedway, we're now able to put all of our schedules, content and interviews in one place. For those unfamiliar with the speedway segment on LiveSPORT radio, this has been on air for a few years now and has produced many many hours of speedway during the course of the over 200 shows already produced. The current format is for two interviews every Tuesday morning, traditionally between 9.30am and 10am, as part of the network's Motorsport Hour. In turn this is as part of their daily Breakfast of Champions show with Nathan Rarere, Ian Smith and Jeff Wilson. Nathan usually hosts the motorsport section. Then over the Xmas period, while the regular hosts enjoy a well earned break, Barry Brown produces and hosts a daily 2 hour dedicated speedway show, covering pretty much everything that goes on in our sport at the busiest time of year. All information about each of those weekly and daily shows will be placed in this thread, as well as links to the interviews for those that are unable to listen live. Recordings of all shows also get placed on the LiveSPORT website. Tentative plans for the Xmas/New Year break this year (dependent on the host getting enough time off work, ha!) are for 16 x 2 hour shows, from 9am to 11am daily (with the exception of the stat days) with the first one being on December 23rd. They will run through to January 17th, so 32 hours of speedway at the busiest time of the year!! You can either listen here; www.radiolivesport.co.nz/Click on the 'listen online' on the right hand side of the page Or on one of the numerous LiveSPORT radio frequencies; Alexandra Frequency: 107.1FM Ashburton Frequency: 1071AM Auckland Frequency: 1476AM Bay of Islands Frequency: 94.8FM Central Northland Frequency: 92.4FM Central Otago Frequency: 104.7FM Christchurch Frequency: 1260AM Cromwell Frequency: 107.1FM Dunedin Frequency: 1206AM Far North Frequency: 92.4FM Gisborne Frequency: 1485AM Greymouth Frequency: 89.1FM/93.9FM Hawkes Bay Frequency: 549AM Hokitika Frequency: 89.1FM Southland Frequency: 1224AM Kapiti Coast Frequency: 93.5FM Manawatu Frequency: 828AM Nelson Frequency: 990AM Oamaru Frequency: 89.6FM Queenstown Frequency: 93.6FM Rotorua Frequency: 1548AM Taranaki Frequency: 97.2FM Taupo Frequency: 91.1FM Tauranga Frequency: 873AM Timaru Frequency: 1242AM Waikato Frequency: 954AM Wairarapa Frequency: 91.1FM Wanganui Frequency: 828AM Wellington Frequency: 711AM Westport Frequency: 93.3FM Whakatane Frequency: 94.5FM Whangarei Frequency: 92.4FM

This coming Tuesday morning (November 26th) LiveSPORT, Nathan Rarere and the Breakfast of Champions will have the two American Sprintcar legends currently in New Zealand, in their studio. From just after the 9am news, weather and sport through to 10am, Donny Schatz and Sammy Swindell will be chatting about Western Springs this Saturday night before looking ahead to next Saturday night and, well, who knows what else in between. Make sure you tune in for this special show.

Any feedback is welcomed in this thread also, especially things you'd like to see covered and people you'd like to hear interviewed, especially over the Xmas/New Year period when we've got plenty of air time. We'll try and accommodate where we can, but for varying reasons everything is not possible.
The 2 hour shows on December 23rd and 24th are confirmed, as are those on December 27th, 30th & 31st and January 3rd. The remaining 10 days covering the weeks of January 6th-10th and January 13th-17th are not 100% as yet due to that terrible predicament otherwise known as a real job, but we're working on it.

First of the 2 hour Speedway Summer Specials is on Monday morning, December 23rd, 9am - 11am, and while the guests are still being confirmed, we can confirm the giveaways that will be dished out that day (and while they're given for a particular night, most can be used on any other night later in the season too). All shows will be available On Demand, but to be in to win the giveways you'll have to be listening live.
1 x Double Pass to Western Springs for Boxing Night (Night 1 of Internationals) 1 x Family Pass to Rotorua on Boxing Night (can be used for the World 240's) 4 x Family Passes to Woodford Glen on Boxing Night (Steve Lennon is always the more generous) 1 x Family Pass to Baypark on December 27th (Super Saloon GP meeting)
There are more tickets to come from all of these promotions later, over the 16 show series, as well as from Waikaraka Park and Palmerston North.
The first two shows will also feature, at different times, 1 Kiwi, 1 USA and 1 Aussie Midget Test driver together in the studio for an hour too, the captains, Michael Pickens, Jerry Coons Jnr and Nathan Smee, being last, between 10am & 11am on Tuesday (Xmas Eve)
UPDATE; That may not happen exactly as said, due to all of the Australians not being here by then as reported to us by Springs Promotiones Limited. A big thanks to SPL for their assistance in arranging all of this. Will be able to update exactly which drivers will be in the studio at what days/times, a little closer to the time.

The show for tomorrow morning, Monday December 23rd, is just about together.
Hour 1 we'll have SNZ President Davey Jones on the phone to open the show, followed by a bunch of promoters with meetings on December 26th or December 27th, of which we have giveaway tickets to all; Roger Bailey (Baypark), Sonja Hickey (Rotorua), Steve Lennon (Woodford Glen) and Greg Mosen (Western Springs). We'll also talk to Greg about how the Test/Heat situation works transferring through to the Feature race on Boxing Night. Finally we'll have a quick chat with the TAB's Mark Stafford.
Hour 2 we'll have some of the International Midget drivers in the studio, just who TBC later on tonight, and we'll have the text-in-a-question feature up and operating, and might throw open the phone lines as well.
