Well there's three different answers to one question; 1/a draw due to no coin, 2/ a different result (with 18m tied for 2nd place with another car) and 3/ 18m winning the toss. Off the ELS it was 16b 82 points, 84s 70 points, 651a and 18m 69 points. I'm confused......... Barry B 651 got excluded from the last race.

hi Barry 651 and 18 were equal on points, they came to the prize giving and tossed a coin for 3rd place, 18m took the win and I know of no exclusion from heat 3 for 651A. dead simple really......... so in conclusion your points were correct there was a coin there was a tossing there was a result and no one was excluded from the afore mentions cars or last race

Would have been better to let 66b out in the remaining races, then issue the 22 day stand down after the meeting I reckon At least then he may have gotten what he really deserved before the car sells! Yes I agree does anyone know how the other driver is I believe he has broken bones in a cast. Any updates?

The only thing worse than the Sprintcars were the officials who seemed determined to put someone in hospital judging by their inaction in activating the yellow and red lights. There were at least 5 incidents of some of the dumbest stuff you will ever see from an officiating crew. The 66b stockcar received a 22 day stand down which was fair enough. I was hoping someone was going to issue the officials with a 22-day stand down because they would have been well deserving of it. Anyhow a good night out at Huntly Speedway to finish the season. Yes I would agree, this was a great meeting apart from the bad/poor/irresponsible inactions of the officials. There could have been some serious injuries last night. Watching the infield staff stand there and stare at a stranded car while it was hit TWICE! This was some of the worst officialdom ive seen in a while. While they pulled one driver up on his poor decision making, there should have been someone to pull the officials in line.

did any of the drivers have thumbs down? In one race a superstock driver crashed not far from where I was sitting, he had his thumb down for two laps, reds came on for an incident at the other end of the track and he still had his thumb down and was clearly trying to get the officials attention while they dealt to it.... greens came on again and he was STILL waving the thumb down for the rest of the race!

Just remember it's not the infield staff that activate the reds , that's the Ref's responsibility.

did any of the drivers have thumbs down? in the stockcars between corners 3/4 thumbs were not seen all night for multiple laps, 82R had thumbs down for 3 laps in the middle of the track then the roll on 741A happened right next to him. In the last race 98R had thumbs down for 3 laps and on the 4th 651A feed a car full noise up the ass of 98R. there was either no contact between infield and control tower or they were just slack all night, although on no count is it right to feed a car full noise up the ass of a injured stationary car

Best of the best you's guys reckon... I reckon it was the best of the rest actually. 2014 speedfest was boring compared to past years. You's guys can't sit there and call this the best of the best when majority of the field didn't even qualify for nzs or any other championships. Stop kidding yourselfs.

A little unfair.........even Nigel Wilton from the WSSCC accepted earlier in this thread that this year, for reasons stated, it was a little more like "The Best of The Best Available" (and that they'd be aiming to get better fields for 2015), and the entry lists were pretty well advertised on the Huntly website I think, so you knew who was going to be there before you jumped in your car to go. Let's do it on the terracotta, Barry B

I had left before the lap scoring for this race had to be changed and 651a included back into the results. Thanks Mike

An update from Tony: "So 4 to 6 weeks off work with a broken wrist, fractured toe, few chunks missing from my tounge. A stockcar with a bent diff housing, rear suspension turned inside out and a front bumper wrapped around the wheel (on a flatty) so much for bizloy plate being strong! lol. Wouldn't of minded so much if the race hadn't of been finished for two laps before I was straightlined and followed in..im usually the last one to moan bout receiving payback but I do all my hitting during the race!!!!"
