Engine sizes rather than the number of cams and valves...thats what holds the sport back a bit,IMHO, sooner or later it will have to change because there simply wont be any OEM motors built with fewer than 2 or 4 cams and 4 valves anyway.... im talkng 2-litre or 3-litre and 4 -litre divisions..its only a matter of time..even Ford dont build a 4 litre single cam motor anymore.. so knowing we have to make changes lets start mixing the grades again by bringing the specs closer together, allowing any diff.. and any number of cams or valves into any division based on maximum engine size...we will see our big money stocks jumping between grades more often ...that brings bigger fields and more interest..leaves plenty of room for the engine builders to play and learn..plenty of opportunity for promoters to build an exciting event heaps of fun for drivers..like the song says..its just a matter of time! thats why i want QC in stox.
