Good meeting , Good crowd , good weather. Brent McClymont the star in the Saloons along with Tony Heuvel. Bryce Steiner best in the Superstocks. Tony Takarua will no doubt have 11a engraved on his dash for next season The Stockcars played well too but not being able the hear the commentary hadn't a clue who won overall until I read the post a couple above this.
Midgets were ok and the Minisprints were there.
Meeting completed in a little over 3 hours so well done on that score.
Hopefully the meeting was successful on the gate side of things too so Kihikihi will consider doing it all again next season at this time.

Yeah that looks right Dave , unfortunately 2nz had a little bit of mechanical trouble and the dnf gave us slow fellas a chance . ,but thanks to the 10 saloons that rocked up ,sorry if you didn't like the fastest of the back all night thing but man there was a lot of passing and no yellows and no damage . Thanks to all who have supported the saloons this season . Cheers 77k

Well having not got to KK for 2yrs, it was well worth the trip up last night. The lights look fantastic and the racing was well run I thought. Good selection of classes too. Superstocks were my standout class. Fast racing on what was a challenging track at times plus a few good hits being put in. 11A and 7A were the two to watch, both changing the outcome of the night. Stockcars were big in numbers and good to see some hitting being done and not flag racing. Saloons were fast, man that Stick and Heuvel were fast!! By geez I thought the 51M was going over at one point. Was very pleased to see the Andrew Edwards Memorial race still being run and congrats to Ben on his win. I too, like Macgor hope KK do this again, same meeting, same time. Nice early night home to Taupo. Well done KK, night enjoyed.

They worked and worked on a challenging surface but got there in the end, well done kihikihi.. It's a track I've wanted to race for a while and thoroughly enjoyed myself.. The lights were real good to run under, perfect vision but strange as u could not see the crowd at all.

Yeah mate, you looked like you had fun.a few spin ups and a few bumps but at least you kept going. Great to see all the A cars there. Thought it was a great meeting - thanks to the club, drivers and crews for putting in the effort.

With drivers and cars from Waikaraka Park, Western Springs, Huntly, Baypark, Rotorua, Meeanee, Stratford and Wanganui (sorry if I missed anybody) visiting Kihikihi for their final meeting, it sure made for a pretty good night. Great to have a night like that so late in the season. I guess the danger is if the weather doesn't play ball some important local titles may not get decided for that season, but it all made for a fun night for sure.
Oh, and I loved the format for the Saloons. Wouldn't work for a championship or any sort of big night for the class, but with the relatively small field and speed differentials on display it worked a treat.

Was a good line up for the final meeting, and was awesome to race with a few different stockcars to end the season, not that I got to finish the whole meeting. The racing I did get to see was awesome though and the stockcar runoff was pretty funny to watch. Being the only driver to make it to the back of the ambulance is quite an accomplishment I think, Kihikihi's wall is a bit harder then Huntly's.
Had fun though. Stockcar 14H

Yeah foot is a bit on the swore side, but we'd been having problems with the car so if i stalled it, couldnt start it again. So had my foot on the clutch when I hit the wall, of course my foot come off second best. But definately had fun as always, good way to end my first season.
