What's the deal with this car? Is it the hotrod from hell or just another gordge car? Whichever, it's a nice looking car.

Yes now Owned by Bruce Williams. The original Hot Rod From Hell. With Demon/CSL Toyota fitment 4 Tony Fabish . Yes.... And no. The car was fitted with the CSL Toyota combination for myself and James Ford- and Demon did a lot of the fabrication work while the car was in Palmy. Unfortunately, overseas work commitments meant I couldn't race it last season and left the car with James. After Tony had a drive which was meant to help with setup, it became apparent he still had a thirst to compete, and he raced it last season. James had a new topgear chassis built and the CSL engine from the Gordge car, along with a fair bit of the running gear was removed. The engine was freshened by Otorahonga Motor Preps, whilst the gordge was pushed in the back corner for a rainy day.... The decision was made to then sell the Gordge chassis and Bruce purchased it as a basic roller with a heap of spares. I believe Bruce has built up the engine using parts sourced from the States, and has done an awesome job presenting the car. This car has great history, and I was a bit sad we had to sell it. But it looks like it went to a good home. Cheers Rick Taylor

Thanks for the update Rick! So it was running as 23k last season, right? Saw it running at Huntly last week. Looked great and was sounding superb!

The Gordge "Hot Rod from Hell". This car hasn't had a whole lot of success in individual events, but it has certainly been a top teams racer.
