Thanks for clearing that up Horse. Thought that "rumour" sounded about 12 months old.....didn't think you'd be building yet another Tank just yet!!

oh dear another rotorua driver to baypark with two top driver car combos selling up our stocks a looking a little thin Mate I raced at Rotorua more last season than some of the locals and I'm sure Mark will run the tanker there plenty this season as will I....don't think having Superstocks running out of Baypark has made any difference really.

yep cant deny that horse but what I should of said is that with drivers moving to other tracks memberships and potential sponsors go with those drivers we lose club people

Many of the drivers, like Horse, still support Rotorua as well. No problems........ Barry B

oh dear another rotorua driver to baypark with two top driver car combos selling up our stocks a looking a little thin little thin? Rotorua has always been a stronghold with the Superstock class and I found it hard to hear you say "looking a little thin" im sure their numbers will be strong again this coming season. If you want something thin to look at, it is little ol Huntly. 17 drivers on the books in the 2011/2012 season and this has slumped to just 3 this past season. But again as Barry has stated its nothing the club/management is doing wrong.

Rather than slinging at other tracks, I think the proof will be in the pudding...
And/or in the buy or sell pages, as I see Peters Rees last superstock tank has now sold to Rotorua.
I am sure Rotorua will remain one of the strongest tracks in the country behind PN and probably alongside Stratford and HB in this coming season for numbers. Which is always awesome for the class.
Will be interesting to see if any trial motors might help create interest in Rotorua as well, like has been experience in Auckland and CHCH.

Rotorua always has a strong field of Superstocks . Putting a team together may be a different prospect . The diehards like Steiny , Lala and Mc Robbie are always there , but be good to see a few more in the wings.

Don't forget Lance Aldridge (sorry if spelt wrong) in a Rees tank plus the just sold Rees tank to a very competent teams racer in stock cars. Plus Jason Redinger should have ironed the bugs out of his new car.
