We left Tauranga in Murrays truck about 5.30 on Thursday night, arrived in Wellington with a couple of hours to spare for the 2am crossing, got off the boat at 6.15am, and with a couple of small stops arrived in Kaiapoi to make a drop off at my place about 11am. We then headed south to pick up Murray's new toy. We were loaded and on our way back to the Ferry for another 2am crossing, off the ship by 6 in Wellington and another non stop drive back to Tauranga, arriving in about 2pm. A long tiring trip, but enjoyed it and the company. Thanks Murray. Also enjoyed the 14hr sleep i have just woken up from.

Well, here's my guess. Left Kaiapoi sometime after 11am to go south, to then end up in picton to catch the 2am crossing. That should put you in Timaru, or maybe even Dunedin/cromwell. Does that mean you have a Hypermac Murray?
