So, the AGM is over and we have the information that you've all been waiting for.
Baypark Speedways new promoter is Bernie Gillon.
Baypark speedway opening night is on the 25th of October 2014
Also, Bay of Plenty Speedway Association has elected a new president, Tim Sidwell. (tim@pyespaengineering.co.nz)
It is intended that Baypark will be running not only sprint cars but also six shooters, not only mini stocks, but midgets and not only stock cars but super stocks and also along with the saloons and super saloons, with also the likelihood of invitational classes.
Watch this space for new information!

Tim, good luck and all the best for a successful season. You are never going to please everyone, and some people can't help being negative - but I am sure the people that have been appointed are there for the right reasons and will hopefully take the club and venue forward in a positive direction. Let's all give them a chance to make some changes before delivering a verdict. Bring on season 2014/15 !
