Stockcars Rees Gaskin Orr Superstocks Robertson Elsworth Joblin Which Rees? Which Gaskin? Which Orr? There's more than one of each? Not to mention there's 3 Joblins and 2 Elsworths, maybe more than one Robertson? Let's do it on the terracotta, Barry B I didn't know all of those you mention had committed to racing in the NZ champ’s as yet Barry

You probably do not have to look far past the top three at the nZGP at Nelson (location for this years NZ title) a few years back. They were;
Kane Hargreaves 3nzw Damian Orr 81r Jordan Dare 581p
Mind you, you could probably through in half a dozen drivers from those three tracks who have been on the podiums at the stockcar events over the last 5 years.
I'd like to put a south island car foward, but each time one has qualified the North Island cars have worked tog't ether to eliminate anyone even near the top 10. I don't think that will change untill the South Island turns up to the NZs with 100 cars trying to qualify. Which potentially could happen this year I suppose.
Superstock title in Wellington?
Tony Mac (rumoured to be out of retirement in a new car) Dale Robertson (if the new car is finished) Malcolm Ngatai/Peter Bengston A higgy built car from Nelson (not sure which at this early stage - hopefully Higgy himself since there are three cars in his shed. Or maybe thats just rebuild season)
Wellington will be brutal -

Just go to the TAB and back all the P cars,due to the team nature of the game . Most podiums will have a P on them , Just my thoughts.Cheers 77k

Of course one should also take into account the format of the event. ie: number of cars on the track/how many from each group qualify/possible repecharges etc Nelson could throw up an outsider as champion given the tight track. Those that have been to Stockshock where numbers have been good will know there is nowhere to hide.
Generally regardless of all that though, the cream tends to rise to the top
