In the UK all drivers are graded based on their performance. Each grade is signaled by the wing colour.The top guys such as FWJ and Tom Harris start at the very back and have flashing lights on their wings to indicate this. The full grades in starting order are Whites Yellows Blues Red Superstars (Red with flashing lights) Also the champions get certain roof colours. European- red and yellow cheques British- White and black cheques Points- Silver World-Gold and the option of number 1. Thats a good Idea. There was talk on here not so long ago about identifying champions of events other than a NZ title. Maybe SNZ could adopt some of the above.
