Would be excited about superstock options. I guess depends on how much you'd loose trying to get it too those specs Think it runs on methanol, and clearly needs a carb. And who knows what comp. But man, awesome to see 500 dynoed hp with an n/a BA Falcon 6 it says on the dyno sheet that comp is 13.10:1 and it runs 6 throttle bodies and yes it runs on meth

So has anyone noticed a BA Falcon from HB had a 2nd in the feature at PN on legends night, and recently had a 2nd at the HB superstock champs in a top feild? And you can pick up a stocker for 600? Has this motor in 22b had the big superstock dollars spent on it, or is it a legit alternative at a reasonable price to the big dollar v8sbout there? Just seems to get better and better. Hopefully we see some in car footage soon Although we're still down on power compared to the big dollar V8's, the 6 has proven in the last couple meetings that on the right track conditions we can run with those cars. Its definitely not a big dollar motor either! We built it ourselves in our shed at home after alot of research! In-car footage from the HB Champs can be found here - www.youtube.com/channel/UC1u_BS58u0OO--JOVvRi81gBaypark last night, on the big track , 22b looked on the pace with the 6. Not even dry sumped , is that a BF engine ?

Think it is very much on the pace. Some awesome incur footage from the Nzs is available across the 3 heats
Motor always sounds superb fresh hope the team can share an updated of their progress.
Bet there are more seriously considering this option.
Mind you, I think the driver is pretty sharp, very clean and consistent on the poleline

they wont bolt into any falcon powered stockcar, you need more room at the front as the head is long over front, and you will also have to notch the top of the fire wall to allow where the head over hangs the bolts, if your firewall is nice and low you wont have this issue, clive pritchards ba made around 410hp at the wheels, had heaps of tourque, and was under half the cost of a nissan or toyota v8 with similar power, ring terry o conner in rotorua if your after info on them he knows everything about them Gday.. Nah, want it still cheaper than that... you can buy those motors any day of the week for sweet F.A. ..compared to what guys pay to build a superstock motor, you can just about buy a BA and try to blow it up and change motors nearly every week...Sandy got 9 weeks outta his...thats only 3 motors in a season, would ya worry if you got thru 6 of em, im talking churn and burn ...and mostly for the sake of a decent chat...like sandy said..he just tried it out and sounds like he had a decent run...

Nepia Anaru ran one in his old car - supersaloon, not big on the super bit though! - lots of power, well over 650horse, but really really really bad handling car so it didnt do any good.
theres a few single cam falcons in the super saloon ranks too - 57D wayne Andrews is on youtube within car cam. last season he found they had TOO much grunt and downsized the turbo mid season - then he blew it up lol! theres also another one running up north apparently - havent seen it though so not sure.
Ill be running a NA motor when my car is finally ready to start with, probably slap on a turbo later though.

had my chance to go falkhoon but once its there in front of you the choice seems different..I went with tried and true toyota. its the way the chassis is built and no gain changing it..

Afternoon all, Were 3 meetings into the season and things continue to look up for us including a couple top 3 finishes and a Feature Win last meeting. The more we learn the setup, the better the car seems to be circling. The gap to the V8's is slowly getting smaller so very happy. Motor stayed in over the off season and only had a change of oil so not much to tell there. For anyone interested, i'll be trying to upload every race this season so can keep track of our progress here - www.youtube.com/channel/UC1u_BS58u0OO--JOVvRi81g/videos?view_as=subscriberAlso have a facebook page where i'll get putting up race reports after every meeting - www.facebook.com/TwoTwo-Motorsport-Superstock-22B-1086653571463907/Cheers Zach 22B

Was gutting to hear of the engine drama, especially after such a solid start to the season.
The new cams sound even lumpier, and again sounds super crisp. Stoked you guys stuck too it, and are back out again. Fingers crossed for another podium at Hb champs! Looking forward to the update.

Had a Cam Trigger snap off the end of the cam causing a fair bit of mess under the bonnet. All is sorted now, have tried a couple new things because why not while we have the chance. Just to continue the tread of woes, the driveshaft decide that it didn’t wanna play ball anymore and tried to come through my seat at the end of heat 1 lol Real bummer because the car was feeling very strong up until that point and ruined the chance of a 3 peat on the podium at the HB champs but that’s racing! Will throw it back together for another try this weekend for the Under 25s at the Peter Barry’s. Hopefully we’ll get 3/3 races in and come away with some sort of result! Cheers boys, Zach

Without blowing it up too much, looks like a solid start to the season.
New motor sounds the goods

Another BA Falcon 6 rolled out this season, 79c Rodney Hern with. Horsepower Heads and Kelford Cams set up.
Sounded the goods, and saw some healthy lap times, but never saw it go due to zero crew and starting in stockcars again.
Also been looking for some pics or footage but struggling to find some.
Looked like a very well put together car!
Any insights or footage out there?!
Cheers all
