Hi to one and all, Who would like to see the golden oldies at the 240's this season as I hear that they have not been asked to go I feel it's a great way to show the young fans what Stockcars were like before the Space frames came in and changed our sport as it did. So if you agree with me please say so and even if you disagree tell us why that is as it would be great to hear what you have to say Tell us what you think. the roads

Sounds like a great idea .. Maybe someone from the club should approach Sonya with the idea.

Could be a good idea but..
do they have the entertainment factor? Would the ministocks be running because I think its one or the other.
My thoughts anyway

No They are fine as a static exhibit for historical reference but of no entertainment value on the track. Being exposed to them every couple of years is more than enough

Great Idea best place to showcase the cars from where it all began.

240,s is a stockcar weekend , so why not . There will be plenty of fans keen to see them at Rotorua. Even a display down the Lakefront would draw a few... Lets no lose sight of where it all began.... Minisprints NO , These Classics YES

I'd come up for it. The sight and sound of these old girls just has to be better than watching ministocks

As cool as it would be to see these things run again... No, a big wheel class to offset the contact one might be better - the larger wheels would also pack the track a bit during racing while another small wheel is more likely to cut it up more creating more ruts etc than large wheels would.
