Allocated Ticket Pre Sale – New Zealand Superstocks and New Zealand Super Saloons at Max Motors Family Speedway
The New Zealand Superstock and Super Saloon Championships are two of NZ’s premium Speedway racing events – and this year are being held at Max Motors Family Speedway Wellington on the 2nd and 3rd, and the 16th and 17th of January 2015. (7pm start each night)
One of the biggest inconveniences of these great events is having to arrive at the track 4 hours or more before the start time to get tickets and find a prime viewing position, then spend hours baking in the sun (hopefully!) waiting for the event to start.
Pre-sold Premium tickets allow a reserved seat to be pre-purchased, saving the problem of having to arrive hours early to find a place to sit – all seats are numbered and are in prime viewing positions, you simply turn up before start time and make your way to your seat – what better way to enjoy NZ’s greatest action attractions!
Tickets to these events are being sold on a first in basis, so the first seats allocated will be in the prime mid track positions, moving outwards as sales progress (all seats are sold on a per seat basis, there are no concession rates).
All pre sales are initially being offered as two day passes only, to ensure you will be guaranteed the same seats on both nights. The cost for a Premium two night seat is $75.
Other ticket options will be available for General Admission – but will ONLY be available to purchase on the day at the track. General Admission tickets will be limited to our free standing capacity, so when sold the gates will be closed for walk up ticket sales.
Ticket prices for General Admission are:
Friday
Adult - $25
Student/Senior - $20
Child 5-16 - $15
Under 5 - Free
Saturday
Adult - $30
Student/Senior - $25
Child 5-16 - $20
Under 5 - Free
About the seating – there has been a $150,000 seating upgrade for these major meetings, with all terraces being newly concreted this season. The top row of seats on the main straight are stadium style fold down seats, with other rows allowing ample space for cushions (no deckchairs allowed).
On the back straight we have three new rows of terracing, all with stadium style fold down seats, and above this we have our main grandstand. This is elevated and provides the best view in the facility – foot room is however more cramped than in the terraced seats, so there is a trade-off of space for a better view.
General Admission areas are the grass banks around turns 1,2,3 and 4, seating here will be limited to our standing capacity so we can avoid overcrowding, once capacity is filled ticket sales will cease.
All pre-sale tickets are available through Trade Me – just search “NZ Superstocks” or “NZ Super Saloons”.
The pictures on each auction show the approximate view from the seating block currently being sold. As we sell different blocks the pictures will change to give you an idea of the view from the seats currently being sold. First blocks released are the prime seats around the start/finish line in the middle of the straights. Blocks will then alternate either side until all sold.
Depending on demand we may also release blocks of temporary grandstands to be located in turns 3 and 4, a decision on this will be made based on pre-sale levels closer to the event.
Physical tickets will be distributed to purchasers when they are printed in late November.
