Just got my tickets for the NZ Superstocks on Trade Me and i must say very professionally done got answer back almost straight away. Looking at the organisation work and the improvements the committee have done to the track i think you have to take your hat off to them, i think they deserve to have a very successful NZ champs and i for one look forward in sharing their success.

With the general admission corner seating is it suitable for deck chairs? Just a further clarification on the deckchairs for General Admission - we will only be allowing these at the top of the banking, so around the hard fill pathway at the top of the grass banking. (Meaning you can't put deckchairs in front of spectators on blankets and block their view). So again - get in early, as once deckchairs are put out all around the grass edge we will be stopping deckchairs from being brought in, or security will be asking people to remove them. We're aiming for the best viewing experience for all paying spectators

For years and years we used to line up down the street in Palmerston from lunchtime to get good seats for the Teams Champs. Best thing that ever happened there was the pre-sales.
And after being at the track from about 11am last year in Napier, and the same the year before in Nelson, having the option to purchase pre-allocated seats is FANTASTIC! If the $ are a concern, then I think $25 general admission is VERY cheap. Well done Welington for providing both options, and thanks Chris for answering the questions so quick.

Seen as families cant buy presales, there is no way I am paying $225 just to take my 3 under 7 years old grandchildren, what time do gates open to the normal people who want to attend? Not everyone wants to leave their families at home

It's necessary as the programme will change depending on the volume of entries and who enters. I'm not attending the title this year as I had little confidence in the ability of the team at Wellington to run this event but it looks like they are on the right track. Pre-sale seating is a must for an event like this to enable people to take their families along and to provide an option for those fans who do something with their days. I entrust the changes to the venue have substantially raised the capacity. We don't want to be turning away spectators when we could have held this event an hour and a half up the road at a 15,000 seat purpose built stadium.

Thanks for the vote of support Percy, we're touched Hate to point out that we won the SNZ award for best event last year for our hosting of the North Island Stockcars, which was certainly no fluke. It was all due to a concerted effort by a dedicated team of vounteers, which has been far and away surpassed by the effort put in for our dual New Zealand titles this season - with some very experienced individuals helping out with the "heavy lifting". And sure, I'm all in favour of big titles being held by tracks that can handle the crowd sizes too, but Wellington is far from a small venue - and based on your criterior it would be a bit boring only ever seeing titles held at Baypark and Palmerston North wouldn't it, being the only two Speedway Football stadiums with a capacity of 15,000+. I hope you change your mind and come down, as you will be missing a couple of awesome events! Cheers Chris

Cheers Chris Someone has to stay home and keep control of those idiots posting on Macgors I believe tracks running the NZ Superstock Title should have crowd capacity of at least 10,000 people. That's the magnitude of the NZ Superstock Title in 2015. That wouldn't prohibit smaller tracks from running the title but it would mean some smaller tracks would have to increase their capacity via temporary seating to run the event. For Super Saloons it's not so much of an issue as all tracks running the class can cater for the expected spectator turnout. I'm glad to hear that Wellington Speedway is making positive progress. Last time I was down there was for a NZ Stockcar Teams event that saw some of the most creative lap scoring in teams history!

A moderator leading by example! Stirring up a thread relating to pre ticket sales for the biggest event on the calendar because he still has issues with the host club-track for events that may have happened seasons ago . Troll!

Allocated Ticket Pre Sale – New Zealand Superstocks and New Zealand Super Saloons at Max Motors Family Speedway The New Zealand Superstock and Super Saloon Championships are two of NZ’s premium Speedway racing events – and this year are being held at Max Motors Family Speedway Wellington on the 2nd and 3rd, and the 16th and 17th of January 2015. (7pm start each night) One of the biggest inconveniences of these great events is having to arrive at the track 4 hours or more before the start time to get tickets and find a prime viewing position, then spend hours baking in the sun (hopefully!) waiting for the event to start. Pre-sold Premium tickets allow a reserved seat to be pre-purchased, saving the problem of having to arrive hours early to find a place to sit – all seats are numbered and are in prime viewing positions, you simply turn up before start time and make your way to your seat – what better way to enjoy NZ’s greatest action attractions! Tickets to these events are being sold on a first in basis, so the first seats allocated will be in the prime mid track positions, moving outwards as sales progress (all seats are sold on a per seat basis, there are no concession rates). All pre sales are initially being offered as two day passes only, to ensure you will be guaranteed the same seats on both nights. The cost for a Premium two night seat is $75. Other ticket options will be available for General Admission – but will ONLY be available to purchase on the day at the track. General Admission tickets will be limited to our free standing capacity, so when sold the gates will be closed for walk up ticket sales. Ticket prices for General Admission are: Friday Adult - $25 Student/Senior - $20 Child 5-16 - $15 Under 5 - Free Saturday Adult - $30 Student/Senior - $25 Child 5-16 - $20 Under 5 - Free About the seating – there has been a $150,000 seating upgrade for these major meetings, with all terraces being newly concreted this season. The top row of seats on the main straight are stadium style fold down seats, with other rows allowing ample space for cushions (no deckchairs allowed). On the back straight we have three new rows of terracing, all with stadium style fold down seats, and above this we have our main grandstand. This is elevated and provides the best view in the facility – foot room is however more cramped than in the terraced seats, so there is a trade-off of space for a better view. General Admission areas are the grass banks around turns 1,2,3 and 4, seating here will be limited to our standing capacity so we can avoid overcrowding, once capacity is filled ticket sales will cease. All pre-sale tickets are available through Trade Me – just search “NZ Superstocks” or “NZ Super Saloons”. The pictures on each auction show the approximate view from the seating block currently being sold. As we sell different blocks the pictures will change to give you an idea of the view from the seats currently being sold. First blocks released are the prime seats around the start/finish line in the middle of the straights. Blocks will then alternate either side until all sold. Depending on demand we may also release blocks of temporary grandstands to be located in turns 3 and 4, a decision on this will be made based on pre-sale levels closer to the event. Physical tickets will be distributed to purchasers when they are printed in late November. Can someone share a link to the Trade me tickets I have done a search and nothing comes up Thanks
