Why is Dave Tarrant not in the team? He showed at Palmys last meeting he could stir things up but was also quick.. I'm currently injured, broke my wrist three weeks ago so wasn't keen on letting the team down by not being 100% fit. Best of luck to all of the guys I know they will do great. DT

Mustangs have been confirmed on palmy site as Chad Ace, Alec Wilson, William Humpries, Shaun Pearson & Benji Sneddon. Should be interesting to see how some of the young guys in the team go Great to see some new unknown talent in the Mustangs. Gives drivers who have never teams raced to show people what they've got. Pearson the experienced member and is a proven teams racer. Humphries went well in his first Teams Champs last season, so just needs more experience to be up there with the best. Wilson has previously driven for the Mustangs at the Teams Nats in Auckland a couple seasons ago (really shone in the race against the Tigers, rolling Ewers and Cunningham), so great to see him back in the team in his own car. Ace and Sneddon complete novices to Teams but is now their time to shine. Come on boys, go hard. Should be a great race whatever the outcome.

No Bengston in Panthers heading south, I was told he was available if needed but not keen to go as reserve. Joblins haven't raced yet this season which seems pretty normal with their work, I'm guessing that Kerry probably wasn't keen to teams race so soon after getting concussed & it was decided to give some of the younger guys a chance to show what they could do So is Bengston not happy with being a reserve while the Daddy-Son's combo's are in the starting line up?

Think it was more let the fathers & sons get a non important race in before Scottie retires which can't be far off, doubt that will be the team come February

Tigers beat Panthers , Harwood winning the race. Going by Facebook it sounds like Cunningham managed to do a block job on the lead Panther. Hopefully the video is up on Youtube in next couple of days
