Can anyone tell me are the tickets for sale on Trade Me available yet or still waiting on the printers - for those of us interested we need to know that the tickets would definately arrive before Christmas otherwise it is a hell of a gamble..are they being sent by courier or by post?

Enough cars for 5 qualifying groups then? 104 cars before you might need to water each group down and have 5 of them. Better to have 4 full groups than 5 part ones.

I have been told all tickets are printed and will be sent out as they are purchased. They are sent by courier. I would recommend purchasing asap if you haven't already, as the amount of things sent around christmas can cause delays.

Thought there'd be a few more v cars there and no Kerry podjursky 56v that's a shame. Still 100 cars can't ask for a lot more

Ok trainspotters, Would I be right in thinking this is the biggest entry list since the two stockcar classes were seperated and standard stocks given their own titles?

I've been to every New Zealand Superstocks since Rotorua 1998 and it's the biggest entry list from then to Meeannee last season as far as i know. Barry Brown may be able to confirm when a New Zealand Superstock entry list last topped 100?

Thanks for that Tim, As much as I'd like to, and will see that as the competitors faith in Welly and the ability of the club and those charged with the running of the said event, I'd like to think that these sort of numbers will be the norm or lower end of entry numbers for the next 20ish years.

I'd say your right Ramjam that this number of entries could be expected more regularly in the future, but for next year at least with Stratford hosting the NZ Superstocks in the 2015/16 season hopefully the number could well and truly be exceeded. Having a quick count up of entries there is 8 Wellington registered cars entered in the NZs this year, but with Stratford only providing around 7(?) of the entries out of a possible 26 cars registered to the club there is the possibility of the number of entries reaching the 120 mark next year (although this is based on the exact same number of cars entering the Wellington event also entering the following year which is highly unlikely). Some of the South Island based cars may think travelling to the Stratford event is too far, while the same could also eventuate with the 16 cars entered from the Hawkes Bay or any other location, but with Stratford being more centrally located and maybe more easily accessible for some Northern competitors who haven't entered it may mean some of these drivers will attend next years event but other factors such as the timing of the meeting will come into play aswell. Having been involved in the organising and running of the NI & NZGP Superstock Champs here in Stratford this season and last and researching the previous numbers who have attended these meetings prior, it is obvious that if the host club has a large entry list of their own cars then the final amount of entries should reach a decent number as the reliance on visitors to 'pad out' the number isn't as much.

Hey bookers57 I still say Stratford hosted the 2nd best NZ Champs I've ever been to (after welly of course ) with the NZ Stockcar champs and I'm sure the NZ Superstocks will be just as good, look forward to it.
