How spoilt for choice are the Panthers and mustangs
I can't wait to see who gets named in these 2 sides!!
List of probables and possibles is extremely long!
Panthers Pete & Asher Scotty and jack Peter B
Mustangs
S S and A joblin Jordan Dare Wayne Hemi Or as Hemi mentioned they not wanted in W and not needed at P see them go to wanganui together? So into the Mustangs could be anyone?!
G Barr? Or has he mentioned not teams racing
Chad ace will be just coming off his KO stand down and raced well at the NZS
Kerry Humphries definate contender for mustangs
William humphries and benji sneddon both had a run already in mustangs too?!
Or do we go back to the Rees and miers son pair in mustangs? And Hemi back into panthers after showing some reliability with the new(ish) car and one of the joblins?
Possibilities are endless!!!!!

I think Hemi has definitely ironed out the gremlins and got the car much more reliable. The problem is with the Panthers who wants to sit there as 6th driver when they can be in the thick of it for the Mustangs or another team? Personally i think they made a mistake pulling the Mustangs team apart..Miers Jnr and Rees Jnr were the back bone of that team along with 2 x Joblins and Kerry Humphrey are a real threat.

can't imagine 72p teams racing after just coming back from broken leg etc. just my opinion there.
Lots of talk about the P teams. 79p has been mentioned but not much, same as 94p. Theres also others such as Tarrant and Wilson who can not be ignored.
N, S, R all pretty settled id imagine. Being organised and having had a couple of races together might pay dividends for these teams

He did his first meeting this season at wellington speedway so therefore has to register for the season at that track at the time, my guess is that he will transfer back to bay park during the season or perhaps stay with the dub, i just saw this sane example happen to Jayden ward before the NZ stockcar champs last season where he had run his first meeting at wanganui so had to wear a V as that is where he had registered and hadnt made the club transfer before the meeting.

I'm not sure that is particularly true, did you read it in the rulebook somewhere?

As far as I understand you can greensheet any car anywhere but if he had to buy his licence in Welly, then that's where he would have to contract till he can transfer it back. If he had brought his licence thru/as a Baypark driver in the weeks before he needed it he would have been able to greensheet in Welly as an M car, although if it failed that greensheet check it ould need to return to Welly for it's recheck.
Not saying any of this is the reason he is a W at the mo, cause I don't know. But that's the way it is for racers doing their first meeting away from home.

So it is the licence and not the green sheeting that deems what club you are a member of?
Im sure 39s Willemesen also first run this year at Welly. So he must of had his licence already through Stratford as had an S on car for his first meeting. Same as Joblins first running at GP etc, have a P and not an S on cars.

In this day and age of online licensing its easier to do that. Like I say I'm not sure that's what happened in this case but Yip if you turn up to race somewhere without a license you can get one but it means your contracted to where u get it from. Those other examples you gave may (must) have registered at their home club/track before racing or they wouldn't have been able to fill on their cards.
Remember when Dale Robertson had to race Geoff James superstock as a W cause that's where Dale was licensed/contracted to, even tho the owner wanted it to be an R? That's cause the driver is registered to a track, not the car. If it was a one off drive I guess exceptions would be made but cause this was a permanent thing he was a W.
