This meeting should be a good one, being finals nite of the Mod champs aswell!
Also the return of W.B.R With a new look colour scheme and sponsers.
Can't wait, less than a week to go!
Who else will be there?

Especially now that it is only a one night thing, there should be a few H cars come up if they get through Teams Triples at Huntly the night before.

The format for Auckland Stockcar Champs will be as follows:2 groups, 1 qualifying heat each. First 14 from each through to final, then 1 repercharge with first 4 through to final. Total of 32 cars to race 3 races with top points scorer winning the Auckland championship.

Awesome to see such a big field of stock cars. That's one thing that Auckland doesn't lack is a good number in this class. Great to see so many out of towners making the journey to WP. It's shaping up to be a good meeting. Anyone know where Mad Matt is? Didn't see him at Rotorua last weekend and not listed here either although I did see him racing earlier in the season at WP.

Was a good night. Abit late finishing but still a good night.. Alot of action in the mods and the stockcars.. It did amaze me how many times a few stockcars cut the grass to put on a hit. (81r was the worst). Bit of a bummer ol foxy couldn't hold onto those last laps to take the win in the mods. But dam that Luke Keegan was fast..

8r won but that's the limit of my knowledge. Scott Fredrickson is having a great season. Best Rotorua result in NZ champs too.
