BOOOO no live laps Palmy! Maybe the council want to charge Bruce extra for that and then he would have to add it to the gate price.

New track surface over the break & it shows, would be the roughest I've seen the track in ages. Hopefully the 2 nights will be enough to get it settled before the teams champs

BOOOO no live laps Palmy! Maybe the council want to charge Bruce extra for that and then he would have to add it to the gate price. I have always said that it is a real downer on the sport overall that speedway live (which is an awesome service for those who for whatever reason can't make it to the track) cannot break into Palmerston or Auckland which has the same promoter. One suspects although I have no evidence that Video Hub and the promoter have done a deal and he "clips the ticket" on any sale of a video stream service and hence speedway live is shut out. Surely, if the promoter is looking at the big picture and has an interest in broadening the exposure to the sport globally then he should reconsider his position.

Asher Rees is flying, seems to be able to go wherever he likes on the track & lose no speed. Struggling to remember who is finishing where but Steiny must be near the front of his group

Well I'm pretty stoked with my sons effort 1st night doing all 3 races in the superstock qualified 7th after a wee struggle getting used to the car in heats one and two went from grid 15 to 4th placing in the last heat with the fastest lap time not bad for a 17 year old well done keegs. Sue Levien

yeah I thought is fairly tame , palmys been boring all season might forget tomorrow ? to Last night was about qualifying. With 36 car fields in both championships tonight, there should be no shortage of action, even if it's unintent. The track was crap though, and Bruce and Puk have their work cut out for them today.

Keegan drove really well, and Asher Rees was the pace-setter. Those young fellas can drive!
