Seen the video clip on facebook by A R Motorsport . The hit was definitely put in well after the chequered flag as Asher was slowing down .. No doubt about it , A Real Dirty Shot . Why couldn't Humphreys take a shot at Rees during the race rather than resort to this sort .. Can see a good payback coming ... I've seen multiple angles of the hit and it doesnt change the fact that the hit was after the flag. I however, am not jumping to conclusions and labeling it a cheap shot - as posted here earlier, word is Kerry was unaware that he had done anything wrong, and didnt see the flags....given the support he has recieved over the years as a clean and professional racer, I will give him the benefit of the doubt. The officials have made their ruling, and Kerry now suffers the consequences. The on track issue has been dealt with, maybe its time everybody else off track does the same. |

Everyone is entitled to post their own personal opinion just as you have above Richard Baddiley .. Find it hard to believe that a driver with so much racing under his belt didn't see the flag .. Or was it an excuse used to soften the penalty ... If it was a red flag to stop the race in a hurry would he of just carried on. Come on.. It wasn't just after the flag , it was a fairly long distance after the flag . As said before , Humphreys had ten laps prior to take a shot at Asher Rees ..  ? If we listened to your advice and never commented on on track issues , nobody would be posting on the Macgors site . Isnt this what the discussion board is all about .. |

from the video how did Asher get onto the track wearing a motocross helmet... if they are allowed, what is with Ethan Rees helmet in heat 1...was totally open face...heat 2 it had been changed...whats the rule for this ? Have you guys not seen the helmets that WRC drivers and a lot of tar seal guys where? They are the correct SA rated helmets for Motorsport racing... They are in no ways a moto x helmet... Rees have put attachments on the front to protect there mouths... So yeah no rule broken there |

Um for anyone not on facebook it seems a little strange for the rees race cars page to lash out at Humphrey calling him a liar etc. looks like this is about to blow completely apart

I'm beginning to think everyone has had their chance to express their opinions on this topic, some many times over.
If I had just one wish when it comes to these threads it's that more people would take the time to research the rule book before spouting what's illegal and what's not.
It disappoints me that some are so quick to put the boot in because it fits in with their predetermined attitude towards some drivers.
On the plus side it demonstrates Stockcar racing still evokes plenty of passion from those on the sidelines.
This thread will be locked later this evening, it's nearly time to focuss on something else.

I guess incidents like this are always going to create debate. Some healthy, some not. Illegal or legal I give credit to Kerry for at least contacting Asher which I understand is more than Asher did when he was hospitalised. As a side issue I recall Kerry pushing Ethan back to the pits from the infield last week at Rotorua. I've had my say so I'm off to Wacky Park.....

In my opinion 79p knew full well what he was doing and when. But none of us can prove it and have to take his word on the events that have happened.
Now lets all kick back enjoy the stunning weather and make sure our tickets for teams are safe and ready to go because this is not the last time we will see rees vs humphrey this season. Dont really want to miss club nights in palmy now haha

We don't generally lash out on our page but this status needs our attention and facts!
Asher has not spoken Kerry and will not, we know exactly what the go is and we won't stand for this crock of nuts being posted around the Internet. We have had people we would never expect contact us in support and offer their services with getting Asher back on track! We had drivers through out the class furious after the race who made their feelings about the incident very clear! True colours have been shown and guess what?! We are still smiling because we won't be stopped that easy, We will get this car sorted and we will come back stronger than ever.

My first posting ... Someone needs to wake up before we end up another memorial race meet. I only attend a few meetings each year, But Whatever real reason for last nights hit, Not seeing flags isn't acceptable, I see more regulations coming  Asher has been dishing out some carnage this year that's for sure .. He is a Rees after all It can only be seen as payback from Kerry ( legal or not ). Will be returned with interest again by the Rees camp I'm sure . Certainly puts some interest back into this often flag racing code ... I just hope no one ends up dead |
