Present, can't compare with the likes of Evans etc, we are looking at now, Both no 1 in their class and Asher very unlucky not to have the 240 as well. Arguably the 2 best at the moment, hey we all have our own opinions, love to here of other possibilities and their credentials for being called "The Best"

What a disappointment for the fans...... Maybe a disappointment for Panther fans, but geez people let it be. The 2 new guys are more than capable of standing up for the panthers and being counted! Have faith in your team!!!

His timing is impecable, and has a lot of different ways to dispatch his victims, not just speed hits. When you look back at Teams Champs Greatest Hits DVD, he is one of the most prominent drivers featured.

the current national champions are not conducting themselves worthy of the esteem many would have them held too. might take a few a while to work that out and some will never work it out. the rest are in denial....... its laughable when on this board the "i know something but cant/wont tell" is abhored and yet our national champions can drop a bomb (or is that throw the rattles) and no questions can be asked or explanations will be given due to "respect" do they not owe the speedway community the truth? our 2x 1nz's..........

I'm not a Panthers fan Chunkey. Probably quite the opposite but you have to respect them. Part of the enjoyment for me is when teams or drivers you love to hate get smashed. I'm sure you can read between the lines.....

One good thing is that it evens out most of the teams now, without any obvious outright favorites. The panthers without Rees? ?

Remember last year the talk was all about Peter and his concussion. The guy's never far away from the headlines. I'll never forget his solo effort against Rotorua a few years ago....

Because, dear busterbell, we can control the former, the annoying idiots that profess to know it all but won't say what they know (which therefore could be deemed speculation), and the latter, had Rees Racecars chosen to announce this without explanation on macgor's then yes, I'd agree they owe us an explanation. Since they chose to announce it via FB, it seems ludicrous to me that you think this is therefore the platform to ask questions and expect explanations. I'm sure you're quite capable of tracking down Pete via his FB page or his workshop if you really want to know more. For anybody else to answer your questions it's purely speculation, which as macgor has already explained, we won't be going down that track. You must get out of the mindset of obtaining your information from one source but asking questions via another source. Barry B

From the Palmerston North Panthers Official FB page "Due to having two cars out of the Panthers Scott Joblin and Andy Mcabe will slide into the vacant spots." Yep, pretty obvious choice, and two very capable replacements. 8 days to go!! :-)
