See the price to watch it is $50.00 per night as set by Robertson Holden Speedway Bit of a rip off at that price But not surprised

whats the deal with a meeting in progress rained out. do you get the the balance for free? (when its completed) similarly if you pay prior to the meeting being run and its rained out before starting does that transfer to the next raceable day/night?

Yeh, steep but not over the top. If traveling from say Taupo you'd be Looking at $100.00 gas money plus two nights accommadtion @ a min of $130.00 a night in a motel. Tickets to get in the gate, another $80.00 and that does'nt even take into account the cost of Hot Dogs. And that's just for one person. At least you can get a dozen mates around and split the cost of the stream and still have a few beers without having to drive afterwards.

As Barry said , it's sort of matched to the price of a seat. Fair enough too I think.

the difference being the stream is not a guaranteed connection.

The other difference is that you can get multiple people watching the stream.
If you get 4 people watching the stream it's $12.50 each. Can't get into many speedway meetings for that price.

the difference being the stream is not a guaranteed connection. True but recent experience has shown the feed to be quite reliable. If the whole thing did go belly up their end I'm picking they would see everyone right. Shouldn't forget either that you can't contract out of the consumer guarantee act. Most of the problems in the past have come from individual internet connections(service providers) or the computer gear people are trying to use. Operator error still accounts for some problems I'm sure , I notice the same people often pop up on here with repetitive problems. Probably pays to have a teenager on stand by if you are prone to having problems.

Travel- motel - tickets - food - drinks adds up to $800 - $900 for me & mrs so $50 a night in a comfy chair not bad if you can't be there in person. Done it last year and well worth it

While on the boat in a deck chair, i wont have to bother trying to squeeze sitting on a dunny chair , while some one farts before it even starts ,faces look in despair it maybe a little salty but its fresh air, And you can fish for tea and piddle over the side like peewee, For fifty bucks a night ,the bank balance will get a fright , So bring on that stream , we may be lucky enough for desert having scones jam and whipped cream ..

Question: How would I rate value for $50 per night?. 1. The Emotional value for me - the affection and passion provded by having my favourite teams Rebels and the Eagles underdogs battle it out and if they should fail then switching allegiances to another. 2. Pure tension, drama and entertainment. I can never be a superstock driver in the teams event so here's my opportunity to at least be part of something spectacular. 3. Best sportsman participating. Generally speaking the best speedway drivers from the country are involved in this event. One comment about the recently completed 9's in Auckland was the best players were noticably absent and this affected the turnout of spectators. So long as information is reasonably accurate and timely from the commentating box I don't care bout the other bits. So yes I'll happily pay my $100! Bring it on!!!

I too find the price a bit steep, but guess the promoter has to make more coin somehow. Got it last year and it almost cost $10000!!! Card got hacked somehow through the site from Amsterdam of all places. Lucky the bank monitors transaction that seem out of the ordinary! So wont be using credit card through them again!

Hi Ya Here is the poster that is on Facebook regarding the live stream for the Superstock Teams. I am the creator of the poster as I help out video hub where I can, as I work in the same industry as them but thought it would be a good idea to create a poster which has the reasons etc behind certain stuff. Regards Duane Horn Independent Workz

A good informative poster Duane. Just one little mistake; 12 teams x 5 cars = 60 Superstocks, not 72.
