And - further to that - an explanation about taking to the grass, or being forced to the grass, or losing control and going over the grass - all of which seem to be the crux of discussion in a different thread.
Is it legal to have an effect on another driver if you are being forced below the pole line by a following car (either a team-mate or an opposing driver)?

Tell him good work for the less red lights for little stupid things and allow the likes of Vazey and Roberston to disengage instead of being pulled off. One query would be when Steiner was pulled off a wellington car was pushed started just want to know what happend there that's all

Except that reportedly the car was DQ'd later for outside assistance, so it's a good question.

Here's my questions, all from Night 1 (on a night that overall went pretty well and was devoid of any major controversies);
1; The two 3 minute bells in Wellington's second race, when the gate was re-opened after warmups to allow 5w Keegan Levein out onto the track (which I didn't think was allowed, that is point 1), THEN, as point 2, once on track they allowed him a 3 minute bell after they'd already had one for the opposing team. One 3 minute bell per race? How did this happen?
2; Why isn't the 3 minute bell displayed on the big screen? Not really a question Ross can answer, but the first one seemed extremely long, and as much as we like to see cars on the track the officials need to be SEEN to be fair. Would Ross have an issue with the timing viewable to all?
3; Why did they red light the race for Dale Roberston and (I think it was) Paul Vazey? They were hooked up sure, but way off the racing line half way down the straight. Then they stuffed around letting the top car try and remove himself while Robertson did nothing. Then they brought in the tow truck to lift the top car off. Then they sent the truck away and let Robertson remove himself from underneath and THEN both cars were allowed to continue. The whole chapter seemed a little farcical....
4; Another red light in Wanganui's second race, with a Rotorua car on the bonnet of a Wanganui car out by the wall. Sure, they were on the racing line but weren't the only two other cars mobile at the time both from Wanganui? The chances of anybody collecting them were pretty remote with no actual competition going on, and unnecessary red lights certainly break up the flow of the night for those trackside and the growing band of live streamers.

Barry B Answer to question number 3 the lights came on for that indecent as vazeys bumper was in the cockpit of the Robertson car they checked the roll cage it was deemed to be good so they gave them the 30 second rule to come apart Ross told me that this morning

Was still strange that the tow truck came in, THEN they gave them a second shot at it though. I'd like to hear how/why that came about.

Actually here's another. In the case of when the gates opened or a long 3 min bell would the opposing team be able to take pole without a coin toss therefore allowing four cars to race for crowds sake more than anything. Would this be an idea in future??
And my question about welly car being dq'd its was 6 that was restarted not 52

What is the rule for when a car is pushed on to the grass. Do they have to do a full loop on the grass and join in roughly the same spot as there was a few cars that just carried on driving back on to the track after the other car or even in one case in front of the grandstand that reversed off the grass and took off instead of doing a loop...is this allowed by the rules ?
Also do SNZ or Palmerston North Speedaway need to look at using the same rules in a teams race as a normal race meeting (the over aggressive attacking rule) ? Don't get me wrong, we all love the big hits but were these rules not put in place for drivers safety and seeing as how many drivers were in hospital on night one, is it time to do something ? Should cars be allowed to drive full noise into a car sitting at the end of a straight. There has been a few of these over the years like the Pitcher/Herbert hit and for what, it KO's one driver and causes major damage to the other. The Ashton/Pojursky hit was simmilar.
Just my thoughts...

Mostly with the grass, a couple of cars left the track before the start line and re-entered on the corner.

There was one case in the Welly vs Auckland race on Night 2, where 5w came down the infield on the front straight, rejoined between turns 1 & 2 and almost immediately rejoined the action putting 11a into the wall entering the back straight. I'd like to know if any action was taken over this?
