I think the BP Brawlers appearance at PN was likely to be a one-off. I think Dave Tarrant has retired? Mike Mac back with HB. I'd say 119m will be renumbered as 119r for the Rebels? Karl Ross reportedly injured. Mind you, Kerry's car was seen in Pollock orange on Saturday night...... Barry B yes maybe a baypark busters team to say farewell mr pollock

That's a great piece on one of the sport's most enduring characters.

Does the same "team numbers" rule apply at this event?

Does the same "team numbers" rule apply at this event? Sorry Penman , my mistake . I thought I was dealing with the thread about Stockcar teams event at Rotorua. Teach me to take the 'latest posts' option. Auckland Superstock teams are again a private promotion and I think the promoter is on record as saying the numbers requirement would be the same at Auckland as Palmerston.

Ah, that would explain the posts disappearing. Well, that will be interesting - still, fodder for discussion, disagreement, debate and interpretation possibly.

Yeah, I saw your post this afternoon and tried to reply to it but you must have been deleting it at the same moment Re the confused commentators etc, I wish your response WAS about change happening for the upcoming Rotorua event. Maybe we can arrange a commentators boycott on any race the likes of Auckland and Rotorua are competing in haha. Re Penman's post. Different meeting, same thoughts by all I'm sure, so no need to say anything really is there? Barry B

Has there been any updates on whether the Promotion will accept the apparent entry request from Gisborne? Be hard to understand why a Team from a legitimate SNZ track wouldn't be accepted?

Exactly..more teams the better.. given the choice i would much rather the tigers can the auckland trip in and use the $$ to get a team or two down to nelson to race on home soil in front of their home crowd. everyone else seems to get the pleasure of watching the tigers race except their supporters at home. had it not been for the challenge cup in nelson this season we would not have seen them race at all....

Not exactly. I think it was more the PN team itself that suffered...not the promoters

(or so you would think with the amount of fuss that was dished out afterwards.) it would seem the panthers managed to survive without them...
