If they don't, Wellington ain't too far to go chap. Wanganui is before wellington so that's not far away lol TBH the Welly v Wanganui match up could very well have been the final under any other draw. Good luck to Both teams but may your river always be full (of tears)

Gisborne........... They have never won it. Look at the team, they have Lloyd, Kirk, and Harding, that can win most races. Unfortunately they then have a few ring in's just to make up the team. Although I would not want it held there next year, as the banked oval will be very average for teams. Nothing stopping the winning team/club leasing out the event if they win it. That would work for me, depending on where. HB, Rotorua or Palmy would suit. HB good stockcar track, Rotorua, no where to hide, Palmy great wall for stock car racing.
