So as the rules stand you can smoke the lead opposition car from the grass rendering him useless and putting your car in the lead take your punishment of immediate removal from the race and all is well? Forgive me if I find that a little unfair on the poor race leader.

Forgive me if I find that a little unfair on the poor race leader. No. The referee possesses the power to DQ an entire team at any stage. That sort of scenario, especially near the end of the race, would 100% lead to the team being DQ'd. Barry B

Some people just can't grasp that the ref has (super) powers at his disposal and it depends on whether he sees it, or is told by his co-refs and the nature and impact of the offence.
Surely most that have written on here have been to a race?

Hopefully the Gisborne Stock Car club will have a Fibre connection available to live stream next year defence of this brilliant team win. If not due to cost , hopefully STM will have the Dish bugs gone as his Fibre productions are already World class.

Barry B The Auckland Alleycats were disqualified from a race at Palmy a couple of years back under this exact scenario.
