Yes, that's what I was sent through last night Horse. Hopefully they can rebuild it to 8 teams next year, but it's been awhile since there were 8 teams at the Auckland event. Man, there's still some power there however......

It's hardly surprising that there are only six teams. There were some very sore drivers and some very battered cars after the Palmerston North event. The hits at Palmy this year were some of the hardest I've ever seen at the event, and it's not surprising there are some lasting injuries.
Perhaps it's time to revisit the scheduling of the Auckland event. I'd suggest that two major superstock teams events in the space of a month are one too many, and Palmerston North is always going to be the highlight.

Could be worth a thought of moving Auckland to before Xmas break that way all this wining about teams not having a race before they get to Palmy event can be fix. that is the issues of teams not racing together would be solved for those teams needing a run

With teams getting a chance to run before Palmy champs, will only add to the spectacle it already is. (I do realise that some teams already do have "pre season" races) Dont think it would take away from Aucklands champs being a great meeting.

It's tough for the Auckland event on a number of fronts at the moment, as you can't fit in a crowd remotely as big as you can at Palmerston North (meaning less dollars with which to pay the teams), and you can't charge the fans as much because there's not the same number of teams/teams races as Palmy.
Also, with the 4 neighbouring tracks (Baypark, Huntly, Rotorua and Kihikihi) currently unable to front a team, 5 of the 6 attending sides need to be paid to travel a LONG way to get there, and once there they know the damage bill is likely to be greater than at Palmy as well.
Adding all of that up, we should be appreciative of the fact that we've still got six teams that are willing to put everything on the line for our viewing pleasure.

For many years now Nelson Tigers have traveled across the ditch to the Nationals ,they have supported this event well ,and to think that other teams a lot closer cant ,manage a team with ring ins shows the spirit they commit too .

Rotorua is a bit broken at present as all will know . And that's the reason I used the words "it's a shame" instead of asking questions or expecting.

Just checked the online ticket booking site and it states
All out battle as the toughest Super Stockcar Teams from around New Zealand clash. Teams include the Palmerston Panthers, Bay Park Brawlers, Rotorua Rebels, Nelson Tigers, Auckland All Stars and Manawatu Mustangs.
So what teams are confirmed , have taken leave Fri Sat for this event and still am unsure who I am going to watch ??.
As far as I know Rotorua and Bay park are out and Stratford and HB are in , what is the true teams??.
Bruce sort your act out.

The thread you are posting in has the match ups heading the thread as post number 1. Obviously the online ticketing has outdated info and that's worth while pointing out but so far as 'sorting acts out' I think it's you that needs to do that. Footnote , I have advised the promotion of the error.

While I accept your comments Macgor , Bruce posted his comment approx. 1 hr ago and linked to a site that had incorrect info.
Will still travel to watch a teams race, but would appreciate been given consistent information. In this day and age we are relying on the web/internet to keep us updated and I enjoy your site as it keeps me up to date to what's happening in the speedway world in NZ.

As I said , it was worthwhile pointing out the error . It was just the aggressiveness of your post I didn't think was warranted.
