Thanks Macgor , Am pretty sure my act is sorted . Bruce is a professional promoter and he should be checking his facts/links before posting on your site. Maybe he is after the money from pre-booked tickets ??. Will travel to Auck regardless of the line-up. Just not happy with conflicting information.

For many years now Nelson Tigers have traveled across the ditch to the Nationals ,they have supported this event well ,and to think that other teams a lot closer cant ,manage a team with ring ins shows the spirit they commit too . A lot of other closer teams obviously don't have the budget it funding that the nelson guys do otherwise they would be doing the same I'm sure... Do you have any idea how much it costs to do a 2 day teams meeting or was your comment purely ignorant

I think what a lot of people need to realise is that a high percentage of the Superstock guys are self employed and run a Business. The injury risk is high and this has to be a part of the decision to Teams race or not, its definitely my reason for giving it up. After 13 seasons of Teams racing I have always rated Auckland as being much harder on the body than the Palmy teams with Aucklands wall being much more unforgiving. The money on offer is not comparable to Palmy Teams also but to be Fair to Bruce and the Promotion the income from this event must be a lot lower than Palmy Teams as well. Really we're just missing 2 Teams which you could say is the Rebels and Baypark...obviously the Rebels have injuries ( from teams racing ) so they were always going to struggle and Baypark Brawlers were just a one off Team and with half that team dispersing straight after the Palmy Teams they were never going to be. I still think it will be well worth the trip to Waikaraka this weekend, the 6 teams lining up are real strong so to think this event will be less entertaining would be a bit short sighted. See ya's there. Horse.

I guess if the car numbers are there Baypark will front up with a team but to be fair the numbers don't look good. Would be cool to see some of the Bulldogs step up in the future to the superstock class, they showed good potential last weekend. So hey maybe another 2-3 season break and then the Busters will re-emerge again strong as ever...... that's the way the Busters roll.

Yes the promotion was done in those days by Webster i think in accordance with Frances ,it really was far better than the warm up these day s,.and the bell of course

Instead of running the Stockcar teams Nats at Palmy as Bruce is now starting to do also , would it be a good idea to run it at Auckland on the same weekend as the Superstocks? Should get at least 12 teams in total each year. Both classes having there own separate competitions, Ree's would be doing overtime thou.

I would imagine when if Palmy ever get to host thye NZ teams title again, the Nats wll move to AKL that year. Acually based on what I saw last week that will be some time away, Bruce may not have the lease at Auckland by then...... In fact now that I think REAL hard about it, It could well be that far away that Bruce may not be in charge at PN any more. EDIT: Ok to the person with no sense of humour who just txt me, I don't know who you are but the 's after my post means it was meant in jeest. I have been around long enough to know that a Palmy team will never be down for long, and yes they will be back and yes they will win again. Oh BTW, for the record mr (or mrs) txt'r the panters (or as I prefer to call them Panthers, but you can call em what you like) will prob shut all the dickwads like me up this weekend when they..... well I won't put it the way you did but I get that you think they will win
