now who believes peter rees had steering probs in the semi coz from the resart it turned left ok
asher walled in race 1 the semi final s miers dealt him a beauty
I wonder if they may now be starting to regret there dicision to leave palmy
and in 2016 will we see rees in a gisborne team at palmy and aucks

Mordecai I hate to say this but alot of your posts are nothing short of childish. As the manager of the Scrappers I'd like to put your accusation to bed and say Petes universal that holds the spline onto the steering shaft just past the firewall had come loose and the steering wheel was freewheeling in his hand. He had noticed the steering felt a bit loose after rolling Scott Joblin then when he went into turn 3 the steering was non existent. For you to ask if they are regretting their decision to leave Palmerston North, from dealing with them throughout the weekend I'd say they are the most professional and happy go lucky people you could ever wish to deal with and just enjoy the opportunity to go racing with who ever that may be.

I agree with the comments made by bookers57You can't question the commitment of the Rees clan. It's a herculean effort to do back to back teams racing weekends, getting 2 and 3 cars to the track respectively. Pete was clearly inhibited in the incident in question. Thread Locked
