Well done Jake36p. It looks like a lot of work has gone into this. I wish I was able to see it. And like Macgor said, no need to apologise. It will be greatly appreciated by a lot of fans on the night, that you came up with the idea and ran with, and made it what you wanted to do.

As macgor said, no apologies necessary Jake. You'd already stated some drivers were not available, and I don't feel they all need to be listed. The list that HAS accepted is stunning, and while (for one reason and another) I haven't been to one meeting south of Rotovegas this summer, I'm very tempted to make this my first. Can you promise fine weather?
Big ups to the Joblins too, for providing four cars for the night.

Big Bad Charlie in his old 432v would be cool.
I see Evan Mooney was driving the 53v Bob Smith super on the weekend maybe practice for that event ( hoping so )

Big Bad Charlie in his old 432v would be cool. Fairly unlikely without power steering being fitted, & a flip top roof to allow driver to enter the seat, good thought though & would be hard case. A driver from that era (late 60's ish) that would be able to foot it (I suspect) & would be very interesting to watch would be Sam Ferabend, there's a name to go on you're list Jake..... BL

That list is great and what a wicked idea. But if Charlie goes then Barry Featherstone in his old car lol. just joking all these guys are my heros and have looked up to them or abused them from the crowd at teams champs or big meetings. I hope to be there with my 2 kids as well from Hamilton. Good on you Jake.

So whos your pick to win!?? Surely the guys who still race eg jared wade and rodney wood must have a lilttle advantage?

Be interesting to see how jared wade goes in his 15 odd year old car with a standard nissan motor in it against the new hot rods? Hope he cleans up but will be interesting. Bring back wade!!!!!!!!!!

Bryce Penn in a Joblin hot rod is surely an odds on winner for a non current driver. Remember watching him race when i was a young fella at Meeanee and week in, week out it would be a battle between Bryce and Shane. Theyve always been my favourite peddlers
