No JimmyJ, 96a had some engine issues with the car getting power then losing it and getting it back again making it pretty unmanageable. Very happy with the team effort! But a little disappointed with the personal performance.

Sounds like it all went well and the result couldn't be much closer… just wondered how fair it is to have the fastest cars nearer the rear of the feature? Doesn't really reward good qualifying results and makes damage and dnfs a higher risk for these cars trying to make up the positions… or is that how they like it??

Don't think the feature counted for points. Also it was not all the fast of the back, it was the fastest from Friday got to pick who they wanted next to them - then they picked and so it went on until the front. Grant Flynn was one that managed to be up closer than I would have thought. Just makes for an interesting finish to a good weekends racing and well done to Nigel and his team for winning

Correct Gordon the 30 lap feature does not count towards the North/South points. Every driver we spoke to thinks it is a great way to finish the meeting. At the first North/South 2 seasons ago Mark Osborne came from the back to win the 30 lapper in what was one of the best displays of driving we could hope for. In our experience of the Supersaloon class, that we follow and write about regularly, therefore research constantly, it is full of drivers that really care about the entertainment value they provide and, as such, are all for this type of initiative.

Thanks Knownotmuch as it doesn't count for points I understand and would have loved to been there to see it:) To round up the field as you said Mark Osbourne did last year really shows the class of that man!!!

Hi guys,
I read on the welly website review that Paul Gaskin had a skid in a brand new 71w stockcar. Does anyone know who owns this car? Or have a picture?
Thanks
