Thanx David, was a good day out. Do you know why Bodie didn't race today. Car was there but didn't see it on the track. Car was in Grid shoot for his first race, never made track and seen crew pushing car back to pits.

Thanks for a well run meeting Rossco, we sorted out the problem and had a nice result. Good to catch up with folk we haven't seen for a little while Kihi kihi Speedway appears to generate a feeling of goodwill and everyone seems to be so happy and when Rosco foregoes his own racing enjoyment to put his time in so that others may have an enjoyable day out, this must filter through. Not sure how many tracks were represented but more than I have seen at any one time apart from championship meets. And so many competitors unselfishly support the little country track, some travelled some distance just shows that many of the Great Speedway family still enjoy the spirit of enjoying Speedway in the way it used to be. Thank you an enjoyable day out.

Yesterday was my 3rd visit to Kihikihi this season and it has been a pleasure making the trip from Jafa country each time. A big thumbs up to Kihikihi for offering speedway meetings how they should be. There is something magical about walking through the top paddock pit area and it certainly is a nice outlook up there. The Saloon field for yesterdays KC Champs is certainly indicative of the effort Rossco puts in, but also a result of the `feel good` vibe around the place. You don`t get an entry list of that nature just for the hell of it. I get that feeling that Kihikihi has worked hard to achieve that level of support and they most certainly deserve it. Roll on next season is all I can say. Thanks Rossco and Kihikihi from a happy Jafa Anthony

A crowd favourite over recent years has been the 'pole shuffle' undertaken by the super saloons as part of the Burger King Pro Dirt Super Saloon Series. This format went down well at McDonald's Kihikihi Speedway for the Bayspeed King Country Saloon Champs.

Are you running at Kihikihi this Friday Murray? Anthony Unfortunately no, would love to be but I'm forced to race one of these on Friday .... so that I can buy one (two would be better) of these! Rear tyres are munted. They let me down in the slick last Sunday, found myself making unplanned rapid turns, so they've done their last turn! If I keep the jandel down I might get to spectate and snap off a few pics!

Are you running at Kihikihi this Friday Murray? Anthony Mike Wilson 69k has taken my treasure this evening and going to carry out a bit (quite a bit) of urgent and critical restoration work, remove and replace the thread bare tyres, following which he will attempt to circumnavigate the Kihikihi Speed Bowl on Friday night! Look out!!!
