I feel sorry for those who took the time to help.
Kinda feel violated by this scum, and that's from just reading this post from top to bottom.
There is clearly a need for what this pillick was mooting, so to the "competition broadcasters" out there, I hope you pick up on some of the valid points our community identified. We have spoken, albeit to this ratbag, more fool you if you don't listen.

Busterbell - initially we will be going to venues who currently do not livestream. Our main focus is going to be an on demand service as people really want this service. The real numbers of people live streaming is tiny and is a shame because it is a great way for the sport to develop but mainly people are at other tracks on the night live streams are happening which is why the on demand service is important. Events, we will tender for big events and supply a proposal as any other company would. Internet wise we have that covered but wont discuss this further at this time due to confidentiality of supply - more information to follow soon but a bit of cloud cover and too many people logged in will not be issues for us drjkyl - Commentary wise we will begin working on some people soon who wish to commentate for us in our van commentating on what they can see on screen not on track. Independent commentators from the track not just a feed from the track commentator. We would like to try get a team of guys who specialise in different classes as well so that you as a paying customer are getting the best and most detailed information about the main class on the night. m8sr8s - Teams racing is a very technical and different style of motorsport than anything else out there. firstly we need to tender for this event and there are already contracts out there for these events. We have a team of very experienced motorsport cameramen who have all attended many teams champs meetings and all understand how the meeting needs to be covered including our director and replay operator. If successful in being involved in teams racing this season coming our biggest goal is to capture all of the action for paying and on demand customers I would like to thank everyone who is putting ideas forward of how they would like to see the stream and ondemand service work. Its really up to me now to prove our company to you and show that we can do the best and most professional job to supply you coverage of your favourite sport. Once we get our first stream up and running the macgors family here will be the first to view. I look forward to helping speedway in NZ get the international coverage it deserves. look forward to seeing any other suggestions Cheers Cody Matching Commentary to racing can only be done either 2 ways. As said above a separate Commentator or team sitting in the Van calling what is on the screen or how we do it for National Karting events where the Director uses my Commentary to guide his Camera crews { SPARK covers those events with multi Camera's including Pitlane and Podium. }. Both systems work well with the only issue being extra costs associated with a second team which could maybe affect stream pricing. I would have no problem watching a screen if this was the option taken. IMO streaming is the way forward and should be embraced by every track in the Country. Mike W 2016 SNZ Commentator of the year

Nicely said Hooner. Despite his obvious dodgy intentions, this rooster has created a useful focus group here and one that has allowed considerable comment to be posted about what would draw more people to live streaming, so we could easily turn this into something slightly positive and continue the topic rather than focus on the author.
So, from what I have gleaned from here: A stable, reliable live-streaming platform; More in-car vision; Multiple camera angles; A focus on cars entering/exiting the track to confirm drivers and ascertain damage; Interviews; Tech talks; Driver interviews.
Yep, looking at it, it's going to cost considerably more to action all or even some of these, but we've got to start somewhere, and conversation doesn't cost anything.

I think the whole pricing isn't right. I don't believe it should be the same price as general admission. Because your getting so much less than being there live. For this reason should be priced cheaper I feel. If it is cheaper will more people watch it. I really don't know. Nore do I know the ins and outs of it. But do feel things need to move towards commisolisation. Instead of palmy panthers. Become the tui burly palmy panthers. And the only beer you can buy in the area would be tui. alot of legalities I don't understand but with team champs. The direction I feel it could go. Ideas to make strraming better. Drone. Get footage from the air to try get idea of the full picture of whats going on

I guess the Palmy teams champs will be $60 for the live stream this season, at $120 for the meeting it must be almost cost effective to get the Sky truck in and do a pay per view.

Talking to the guy at OSB (outside broadcasting) they have a lwb transit van with 5 guys that they use for the first XV competion And its around 5-6 grand a game/ night then u just provide the screening platform they do all the filming. That's not a bad price for big meetings. IMO.

Multiple cameras angles and vision, information from what's going on in the pits, driver interviews, replays if needed...the list goes on. Sure, it doesn't bring the atmosphere, but the same could be said for TV coverage of an All Black test or a Breakers game for example. And, things need too move towards what?

My opinion is a stable platform and a ticker tape display along the top or bottom showing current run order with points as standing if applicable. Not everyone wants to watch the same couple of cars whole race. Would rather be trackside any day but if I can't make it, tv is better than nothing.

Very interesting comments Macgor on Brad Bowers. He turned up to livestream the 2016 Superstock Teams Nationals at Waikaraka Park last season with two cameras. Unfortunately one of his camera operators phoned late on Friday afternoon to say he wouldn't be able to cover the event. Bruce Robertson asked me if I knew anyone who could step in to operate one of the cameras. Unfortunately I couldn't as I was Clerk of the Course but suggested my partner Janet who used to cover all the Championship events that I produced as MAJIK VIDEO SYSTEMS back in the 1990's and early 2000's. She agreed to assist but found that Brad had very little knowledge of teams racing and couldn't read a teams race unfolding on the track. She was covering the close up action that was happening on the track rather than following the lead car that Brad was instructing her to do. I suggested that she continue to follow the action but also keep an eye out for any blockers waiting for the lead car.
We always enjoyed covering these events with up to three cameras plus we added new commentary instead of using the track commentary.
