I'm not sure I understand this post properly? I have taken a few knocks in the stockcar so I maybe a bit slow ... But I read that your bored of the same meetings being on every year...are you?
Care to elaborate? Just a little unsure how to take what you have said..

So what great ideas do you have to make it less boring or are you just happy having a negative outlook. There is the south island war of the wings sprint car series that's has been running for a while and is by no means boring and in sure there are many more nights that are also still well enjoyed. So let us see what great ideas you have

Certainly enough on clubs calendars to keep us interested. We have already booked five trips to other tracks because we liked the look of what we saw. We had three completely new events at Te Marua last season that were a success and are being built upon for this season. I guess it depends on how you look at things, anyone can find negatives if they are looking for them.

I'm just trying to compare apples with apples here someone correct me if I'm wrong... But the below are some of the Motorsport examples I can think of that have event calendars that have The same events and venues every year ... V8 Supercars Formula 1 Indy car racing GP2 & GP3 NASCAR Just to name a few ...
If anything the SNZ calendar is better because the venues change with titles every year for variety?
Outside the square a little the likes of AMA supercross NRL rugby league season Super rugby ANZ netbal etc have the same Formats and structure?
It's all more repetitive than a speedway season in NZ by a long shot in my opinion - I'm really interested as to the ideas or suggestions you have or what you think could create the need or time for "change"
Don't fix what's not broken perhaps? No other motorsport/sports structure seems to change either?
I still fail to see what your getting at with the post Man, interested in hearing what you'd do to make it better?
If your bored perhaps you just have simply lost interest in our form Of Motorsport and it's time for you To check out something different.

Pretty disprectful to racers, maybe sitting at home watching TV might be a better option for yourself.

Mate, you don't like it, then don't choose to be a part of it! Sure, some of the events are the same....but the results are different, which is why we go to speedway right?

The great Cold Chisel have a song called "Saturday Night", it starts with sounds from the Cross - "if you don't like it, what are you standing there watching it for"...

So same old crap?? Would you rather see gimmicks like stockcar soccer, tank teams races, push to pass races etc.
The BK super saloon series has been great every year it comes to palmy. Is it maybe what your looking for is Close action packed racing for the "fans" and not the look at the money I'm spending racing which is what I presume your referring to.
If you find a way to get a balance between keeping fans happy with racing and drivers being able to compete let us all know

I will be sitting back and choosing which meetings I want to go and see .. lol I'll be doing the same this year. In response to original post there could be the likes of figure 8 racing. That will put the bash back in the biff. These guys slow down a bit more than the older cars Tractor pulling might be a goer, only need 80 or 90 metres in a straight line and no need for end runoff.

i not a big fan of gimmicks and one off events, to me great racing always provides a good show, things the the BK Series, the DHL bring together good car counts of the best drivers, so outside the NZ titles these are good events,
places like the Springs for Midgets and Palmy for Stockcars/Superstocks that are lucky enough to have big car counts of good cars every meeting are always well worth attending,
Baypark used to be like that with Saloons/Super Saloons and sometimes even sprint cars, but in recent years the car counts have dropped,
