Well Ill start.

My name is Ian and I crew for a TQ at Western Springs. I have been going to speedway for the last 14 years or so.

im zach rayner, im 17, i race saloons with my dad at baypark speedway which obviously means i live in mount maunganui and i have recently undergone chemotherapy for the last 10 weeks to get rid of 4 spinal tumours that developed after radiotherapy didnt fully kill my brain tumour.

so i am currently waiting till i am fit enough to go back racing

my name is David, I am 35yrs old or young. My home track is Meeanee, & I live in Napier. I have been involved in speedway for quite a number of years. I have written for NZDTR, Motorsport Central & the Meeanee Speedway Club. I have crewed for a few different people. I find I get the most enjoyment out of the crewing side. I have raced dwarf cars,(refer www.hbspeedway.co.nz for info). I am currently peddling a Holden Commodore streetstock, which I am having some real good fun in. but just to be part of the big speedway family is great.

My name is matt and i have just bought myself a std stock.

At the moment it is still being put together but i will be running a 3.8l buick v6 througha hq gearbox to a toyota diff.

Am having a few problems being that i have never done this before but i am sure i will get there. I am registered as of today at baypark as 13m.
if anyone lives near me in tirau or matamata and could possibly give me a hand to get this thing together i would like to race on the 25th of feb.

i crewed for Glenn Smith (TQ) for afew seasons been 1nz 3 times and 3nz once, now i been taking photos around different speedway tracks and this season i'm doing the Stratford Speedway Website and mine

fav drivers: Dale Robertson, well most of the welly boys what a awesome bunch of guys, Carl Wilson Chris & Jay Knight, so many guys to pick from

Got introduced to the sport thru my father who crewed for charlie bernstien and bob smith thru out time, i crewed for my cousins ministock for a few seasons but im mainly a spectator now until i can afford a racecar of my own

Gidday, My name is Pete Muckle.
Started in speedway in 1982 crewing on an Ex Jago VW saloon car.Got the taste for racing by driving on a club day and got roped in as part of the original 6 TQs to start running out of Nelson.
Have run 2 Stockcars,3 Modifieds(Had the first ever Nelson registered Mod) and just finished some more seasons in a TQ since then.
Am a bit daunted and jaded with Speedway at present but the inspiration comes from this board as I know there are heaps of people who adore the sport.

Cool idea, thumbs up to the person who came up with this idea! ;D It's good to be able to read about other members of the board.

I'm Yaz, better known as NZ Stockcar Crazy!! I'm 19, and live in Auckland. My home track is Waikaraka Park, however I have been known to venture around the country to various meetings, and this season has seen my Dad and I do some travelling!

Most of you will know me for my site, NZ Stockcar Crazy!!, as well as NZSC, I also do the Waikaraka Park website which I took over this season, as well as the following driver websites: A.M.B.S Racing - Minisprints 27A & 76K, Danny Bell Motorsport - Stockcar 69R, and Reece Salmon - Production Saloon 89H.

I went to my first meeting when I was 6mths old, but started going regularly to speedway with my Dad when I was 5! I started NZSC when I was 13 (NZSC turns 6 years old next week).

Since then I have also pit crewed for Stockcars 19A Shane Bessant and also 32A Grant King. I have occasionally pit crewed for others since then, washing the odd car here 'n' there!

These days however, I pretty much do my websites and you can usually spot me somewhere at a track, camera in hand! ;D

Hi there, long time listener, first time caller. Well, not quite. I'm Shaun Scott, 29 from Dunedin racing at Island Park. Like most others been goin to the speedway since me and my bro were lil fellas. Started doin derbies once we had licences than got into Productions.
