Think about it folks, we all knew(?) where it was going to be held after Rotorua last year. We can all look up the SNZ website and see the dates allocated (weather permitting).
So Gis is supposed to possess a crystal ball to tell whose coming? The close off date is when?

So Palmy teams is probably 3 x the size of Stockcar teams and 3 weeks before what promo or team info have you seen from them?

In have seen no if little promo from either event , does that make it ok. Speedway is NZ number 1 summer sport someone needs to start promoting it whether that is individual's or someone else.

I think you need to knock the bleating on the head Dick , Palmy is promoted well enough to fill the venue. No point attracting more people than you can cater for. The Stockcar teams is a way off yet . You know when it is as do most of us that are interested in attending. The track doesn't yet know how many teams are fronting so have nothing to tell us yet. I predict Gisborne will have the biggest crowd they have had for quite a while.

It's a case of darned if they do and darned if they don't. So they say 14 teams and give the names, but only 8 turn up and 2 are not even named. Who's at fault, the club for naming at an early stage to draw the punters or the teams for not showing? At present there may be 8 teams have confirmed and it is the club who will release any details.

(i love my cricket) i will forgive you though :-)
