After many long hours over the last two wks, Macca, Alan and Josh have 99A back to race trim. They would like to thank the sponsors who helped to make this possible. There will be some pleased wives when they return Monday hopefully with the car all intact and they see their partners on a more regular basis before the next round. They were given a spacious workshop to work on the car, so NO the car on the left of 99 isn't Macca's. Hope for good clean fast racing and hopefully they steal the show like last time. People still talking about the super saloon showing and to steal the show from two nights of premier teams racing is no mean feat.

99A out. txt from Macca. Lost brakes. [/quote] All 4 of them? That's a bugger, did he look under the palm leaves in the pits? Maybe he should have fitted them to the car before he left home

With two rounds to go the race for the top is still wide open. Will only take one good or bad race to rearrange the top five completely. Even 6th and 7th could still potentially win the series.

Also remember they all get to drop there lowest round at the end of the series, this also makes the top order change as well.

Also remember they all get to drop there lowest round at the end of the series, this also makes the top order change as well. looking at the points and having to drop worst round id say there will be some of these drivers /teams making sure they don't score too high in the last round the top three if you take away their worst round go 16m 1st 27m 2nd and 9w 3rd interesting

Yes the dropping the worst round is a new rule this year. Swings the favour back to 16M.

No issue with the format. Subtle pointing out the intelligent logic in the post above. I think that person forgot that if you don't score high deliberately, then someone else will. I said in another thread don't like the ideas of doing your worst score, but you should always try for max points cause if your worst finish is a 7th for example, and drop that score, then effectively there was a 6th & 8th placegetters, but no 7 th in that round. Seems stupid not trying hard and gifting your opponent good points.

Think about the flynns when they just about missed the bay park round because of an accident that was out of their control. Just saying.
